Once Rachel was safely tucked back in her Carnegie Hill penthouse with several of the Carnegie Hill Spa ladies with CNA experience there to provide assistance, I took a flight out of JFK down to Pittsburgh where I spent the week with my parents.
My father was his normal self, chiding me for some of the sensual remarks in my New York Times column. I kept telling him it was all just talk, stuff I made up regarding my sex life to maintain my readers attention.
Mom kept asking me when I planned to settle down and get married. She desperately wants grandchildren. She had clipped a photo out of the paper where I was standing with Diego Farina at a ribbon cutting ceremony. She said even he might produce good looking children. Diego will just love hearing that one.
In the same photo she saw my friend Rachel with Mike Miller and said I need a real looker like Mike. I told her Mike was Rach's and to give that idea up. I wonder if Rachel's parents pester her as much as mine do.
I set up a lunch interview with Carly Carpenter for next week. She's the new editor of Vogue and she did include her interview with Rachel in the March issue.
On Saturday I flew back into New York City where Furio picked me up in Diego's limo and took me back to Diego's brownstone abode in the Upper East Side. A very quiet week, all in all, but quite pleasant.

With Rachel incapacitated for a few weeks, Creative Arts Theatre will remain dark.
