when I can figure out my digital camera, and my teenager stops playing hide and seek with our new Family member....Ill introduce You to Kaiser....what Ive named My new Rottie!
Hes between(me and the keyboard right now and still wet, yuck!) 2 and 2,.5 years old, and has been ytrained wonderfully....save for when he decided that a belgian malinoise was a threat to me and damn near broke my wrist.....
I have to keep him on a pinch collar all the time, for control, but am used to that for past work stuff....and so he doesn tdrag my daughter out into the street*L* got her a body harness for him for better control...

Hes big, Hes bad, and Hes INTO MY CORSETS>>>...*Ill be back!

wants LOTS of pictures  ;D

In the end we're all just chalk lines on the the concrete.  Drawn only to be washed away. For the time I've been given, I am what I am

my cameraphone wont send to my email and i am still looking for the cords for the digital cameras*L*

but i measured him...28 inches at the shoulders, his neck is 24 inches around, and hes 35 inches from the base of his neck to his tail base....and hes still technically a puppy!!!! theyre considered adults at 4, and hes between 2 and 2.5yrs...
thats why the pinch collar and harness goes on outside*L*
but hes sooo sweet, hasnt left my side...i didnt even realized id closed my bedroom door when i went to set down a moment, bein dizzy, and i went out again and he was lying down right at the edge of the door*L* he'll get the lovin he was denied from his previous home here, allright!

WHazt the BESt news so far is, due to Me having a hisotyr of pulmonary emobolisims and TIA's, (trans iscemic attacks)
The ladt who procured him for me (FREE OF CHARGE.this dog is like a several thousand dog that was simply transferred to me because the 'owners" said that he was no good to them anymore due to las vegas's mandatory neautering law passed last november....hes had training...he know2s german commands..ive taken him for many walks....and he knows when i have him on control on leash and when i release and let him explore...
SOOOOO

The best news, is that she is a evaluator for the Therapy dogs, which i could really really use....
she doesnt train them, but knows who does..and knows he can pass....
it takes a month or two of training, but...they can sense before i have a mini stroke, and protect me if i go down...Also, no housing can discriminate him even if they dont allow animals, due to him being a service animal, or EVEN...now by nevada laws, a service animal in training ...has the same rights!
Im so excited!
I walked last eve further than i could before....cause of fybromyalgia, and, went for several long distance walks, so he could know the neighborhood.

Unfortunately*L* Hes ranked my daughter as lowest on the pack priority, and torments her nonstop*L*
but she causes it, it sounds like elephants running up and down the stairs.....so will have to have her recall her own training with them...and put herself higher in the pack*L*

yes, Kaiser was named for the movie...about the tall tale spun by the real Kaiser sose*L*

Im so proud*L* I had to share...

he passed his first test a lil bit ago....
My daughter was walking him, im training her to handle him.....and, a guy crossed the street, dimly lit, and kept coming, fast, and moved more towards my daughter than me....holding some kind of clipboard and asking if id seen someone.....Kaiser(dogs name...for Kaiser Sose, yes the movie*L*)...puffed up like a pufferfish, watched him close in...and growled a warning....then when the guy kept coming, he started lunging and barking....I had to take control of Him at that time cause my daughter didnt think hed really bite him..Im gonna swat her later*L*

I cut him off and said.."son, dont you see the dog? stay back, hes a working dog, not a goddamn cocker spaniel"
He finally acted like he saw him(musta been stoned or wayy trusting) and backed off.....but....kudos to Kaiser for protecting us on his second day with us!!!!

I just had to share.....Hes so sweet he melts my heart....I NOW feel totally safe, after him displaying protective behaviour tonight.....I used to twitch at every sound, cause of some threats....
Will post piccies of us later!!!!!

*bounces to go give Him treats*

*adds*

were going to train him as a therapy dog, for my TIA's...(havnt had any recently, but wont take the chance)
since they resemble seizures, sometimes....he'd guard me and stay with me during any attacks....
I totally recommend for people to do that, who are disabled in any way.....who could use help, I have resources for getting therapy dogs, and, no housing can be denied to you if you have a therapy dog, or even one in training...in most states, laws state you can even take them to work!
I was surprised as hell.
I know some here have medical disabilities....and, this may be a valid option for many...to assist, to help, they can be trained to bring you the phone, to lay down beside you during a siezure or medical problem, like diabetes, etc....whats interesting is that THEY will sense something wrong with You before YOU ever know it....
if youd like more info, just message me, and ill share!
