This Week's Gossip
I awoke in Diego's bedroom, alone as usual since he's an early riser. Stella, Diego's maid and cook, brought me breakfast in bed, oven baked French toast, fresh squeezed orange juice and French Vanilla tea.

I met Rachel for brunch at the Palm Court in the Plaza Hotel at 11:00 and we talked through last week as we enjoyed our meal. She's feeling much better and plans to restart her plays on April 12th.

This week Rachel took her first walk with me in Central Park, the one day that the sun actually shined. She also took her first massage with Jason since she fell and tore up that knee. Gino and I teased her mercilessly regarding her turning over face up to let Jason do her legs. She claims nothing special happened, even though "turning over face up" is often read as an invitation to the masseuse.

In fact, we wound up making a $10 wager like The Contest in that famous Seinfeld show. The one that remains "The Master of Their Domain" wins the pool which Gino is holding. I'll let you know in this column who eventually wins.

Friday night I went over to the Carnegie Hill Spa to get a hair cut, just a trim. Tammi buzzed Sandy and fitted me in. While we were waiting and sipping wine in Tammi's office, Jason popped in after finishing a massage. Turns out he gave Carly Carpenter her first massage in the Carnegie Hill Spa. I pressed for details, but you know Jason. What happens in his massages never leaves the room. It's just like Vegas. Actually, I'm sort of glad about that.

Saturday morning I went shopping at the Queens Mall with Rachel and Gino. We dragged poor Gino in Victoria's Secret and both modeled underwear. He said we weren't being fair in the contest, but he just couldn't resist looking as we modeled just about everything in the store. He's dead meat and will go down first, I'm sure.

I spotted Jason with Carly Carpenter entering the Plaza hotel as I grabbed a cab and headed for the Four Seasons Saturday night. Low and behold, when I got there, Gino told me that Jason and Carly had dinner there with my boss, Art Fisher and his wife. Talk about a double header!

Who knows what might happen next??

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, April 12th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Will & Grace - The Big Vent. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom, unless Rachel once again needs me in the cast.
