This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday morning I awoke alone as I expected. No sign of Declan Mulqueen, the Irish fellow that helped me home from Mahoney's last Saturday night. At least I had a smile on my face as I showered with fond memories.

The weather was very chill, but clear, so I dressed in heavy sweats to run with Rachel Tatellio in Central Park. She chattered away as we ran, talking about all the upcoming elections. She dates Mike Miller, who will win the Manhattan council seat again with a record breaking margin over Republican William "Willy" Parker. Our friend, Cami Diaz, should waltz in a winner in Brooklyn, too.

The other council seats aren't quite as clear, but with Diego Farina and the heavy labor union votes behind them I think sexy Sawyer Holloway will win the seat in Queens, Emily Addison will triumph in the Bronx, and  Amber Valetta will win the close one on Staten Island.

The one that is really still up in the air is Long Island where Diego is rooting for newcomer, Ana Demetrius. She'll be facing Republican Andrew Williams, a charming young man that hopes his backing from the female vote can swing the tide. He is a handsome man and I might even vote for him if Diego wouldn't spank me for it. Hmmm? Would it be worth it?

Monday night I spent the evening with Diego in his Upper East Side mansion watching our New York Giants triumph over Terrell Owens and the Cowboys in Dallas. There's nothing like an evening with Diego when the Giants win!! Of course I let him spank me!!

Rachel asked me to play the sexy Tina in her Wednesday night version of Seinfeld since Soul's Destiny couldn't make it. I had a really good time with that role, teasing Eric who played Jerry. Alice drew the role of Elaine and was hilarious as she also poked at Eric all night. I wouldn't mind having Eric poke me once, but that's another story.

Last week I finally managed to reach Molly McGafferty at Mahoney's Irish Pub where she works as a bartender. As most people know from the television news reports, her father, Patrick McGafferty, was brutally slain last week in his own office chair. Molly and I had lunch together and we discussed the current situation. So far no suspects are even being questioned in this surprising murder case. Molly will inherit her father's home, but plans to sell it once he's been cremated and put to rest.

Lt. Joe Friday, who's handling the McGafferty case, told me that they are vigorously searching for the killer, but their CSI team has come up with very little to work with so far. He said it was definitely not just a random burglary gone wrong. Whoever killed Patrick was after information that must have been in his now empty safe.

On Saturday night I sat quietly in the corner of Mahoney's Irish Pub, chatting with Denny and Barb as she tended bar. I didn't pester Molly since she was in what looked like a serious discussion with Declan Mulqueen. Denny told me that he's hired that Rafe Michaels as another bartender in the pub. That should ease the strain on Molly and Barb

Two new strippers took turns pole dancing on the pub stage, a pretty dramatic change since Denny is a free man again. One of the strippers came over and took Denny away to his office, supposedly to negotiate a permanent job there. I won't even guess at how that might have turned out.

Declan left with Molly in tow and Barb said he's protecting Molly since there are some concerns that her father's killer, or killers, might try and harm her. In fact, Declan came back after closing time to escort Barb back to her place where Molly is staying until things settle down. Hmmm? One very handsome Irishman with two gorgeous females? My mind said Menage a Trois as I rode home in a taxi where I'll be sleeping alone.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, November 1st at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Will & Grace - Brother Is Coming Two. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom.
