Although the attendance at the Genovese Board meeting was sparse, the meeting went quite well. David Dewher, Ana Demetrius, Lauren Bianchi, Tammi Hanlin and Ben Bravio were all there.

Mia let me know that Ben's assistant and body guard was down in the bar and I gave her permission to leave with Luigi later.

I announced the fact that Lauren, Tammi and Ben were now officially board members and would be paid the same $100,000 a year as the politicians, Angela Black of Citibank and Colin Martino of the Teamsters get.

We made over five million dollars in profits in February, a record for that month.

Ben gave a detailed report on the various construction projects and every thing was in excellent shape except that damn 50 million dollar Staten Island City Hall job which is now three weeks behind schedule do to the wild cat strike orchestrated by that pain in the ass Teamster leader, Walter DeGrario.

I'm sure Colin didn't attend the board meeting because he hadn't fixed that damn problem as promised. I called Colin from the limo on the way home with Ana Demetrius and she moved away from beside me when I started bitterly pressing Colin. He said DeGrario is being a pain in the ass, hoping to garner support to replace Colin as president of the Teamsters. I asked Colin for an address for this DeGrario and wrote it down. It's a nice two story, three bedroom home at 400 Arden Ave in Arden Heights on Staten Island.

As soon as we arrived at my Upper East Side brownstone, I asked Ana to get comfortable in my bedroom while I took care of some business. I called Luigi, who was no doubt busy banging Mia, and left him a message saying I needed to speak with him post haste. I have a guy we need to feed to the fish.

I then called Lauren who wasn't home yet and asked her to call me. I want to have Lauren invite this Walter DeGrario out on the Princess, the ocean going yacht I often rent to entertain special guests. Colin said Walt's one weakness is sexy redheads and that Vanessa might just be the ticket. I want Lauren to set it up, two couples on the yacht for an evening of fun

Luigi and Mia can be the other couple and Luigi can make sure that DeGrario drown in a terrible accident. Give him a redhead, ply him with booze, drown him in a bucket of sea water, and drop his dead ass over the side. That will take care of that problem.

leaving a message for don diego. waiting for the prompt, there's a knot in my throat. wondering what it could be. but knowing it was serious. the even tone with which he left the demand to speak with me was a dead give away.

On Friday night I drove that sexy redhead, Vanessa, down to Staten Island where we staked out Walter DeGrario's two story, three bedroom home at 400 Arden Ave in Arden Heights. Van was wearing the shortest damn mini-skirt I'd ever seen and a sexy top that didn't hide her alluring body.

We were sitting there drinking coffee that was gradually getting cold when Walt walked out of his house, got in his Buick and drove off.

I started the engine of the plain Ford Taurus and followed him a safe distance behind. He drove past the Teamsters Union Hall to the Red Bull Club where he parked and entered. I drove just a half block past and dropped Vanessa off after we checked our cell phones to make sure we could remain in contact if required.

I called Lauren Bianchi to let her know what was going on. She asked me to make damn sure Vanessa got out of there safely. I went around the block, then parked at the Red Bull  and entered.

Sure enough there they were, sitting side by side at one end of the bar chatting. With all the loud music of a three piece rock band and couples dancing, I couldn't hear them from the other end of the bar, but Vanessa gave my a wink to indicate she was making progress.

Walt had one hand on her knee and she kept leaning closer to whisper in his ear, no doubt giving a nice peek down her top. He was returning the whispers when she gave me the high sign. I paid for my beer and exited the bar.

I picked her up out front as soon as she left the club and she said she'd succeeded in the plan to set Walt up. He'll be anxiously awaiting her call with an invitation to spend an evening out on a yacht called The Princess with her.

Van called Lauren and told her what was going on, then we talked on the long drive back to Manhattan. I gave her a nice relaxing massage when we got back.

I left messages for Luigi, Lauren, Vanessa and Mia, alerting them that I've reserved The Princess for Monday night at 10:00 for a party at sea. Either Eoin or Jason will be the captain of the rented yacht, Donnie will be the first mate and Jetta Johnson will serve as the hostess serving the drinks.

Vanessa will contact Walt DeGrario, make sure he's there and entertain him all evening. Mia and Luigi will play the other guests at the party. At the appropriate time after the vessel is well out at sea, Luigi will use a chloroform cloth to subdue Walt and with the men's help they will dump him face down in the 50 gallon drum of salt water conveniently on board. Once he drowns in the salt water they'll throw him overboard to feed the fish.

That will eliminate our little problem on Staten Island.

On Monday night, my team of Jason, Donnie, Luigi, Vanessa, Mia and Jetta took Walter DeGrario out on an ocean party cruise aboard The Princess, a high powered yacht I rented for specifically this occasion.

Everything went as planned and poor Walt "accidentally" fell overboard and drowned. All searches for him proved futile and they came home empty handed. Luigi sure seemed happy though as did Mia.

I checked with Ben this morning and surprisingly all the Teamsters were back, reporting for work. Ben is putting the crews on double shifts and hopes to have the City Hall project back on schedule by the end of the month.

Problem solved!!
