In one of the most sordid and despicable scenes we've ever seen, a body of an unknown young female was found hanging on a tree in Central Park. She was obviously butchered by a maniac trying to send a message.

Lt. Chris Meloni of the NYPD Special Victims Unit (SVU) stated that the body was nailed up on the tree wearing a crown of apples with needles around her head. They refused access to the photos taken by the Crime Scene Investigators assigned to the case.

An autopsy performed today will determine the actual cause of death, but Lt. Meloni said it was obvious that she suffered a tremendous amount of pain. Although no name was released, Lt. Meloni said they believed she was a prostitute and the killer was leaving a message.

Lt. Chris Meloni held a news conference tonight where he identified the victim they found in Central Park yesterday hanging in a tree as twenty year old Judy Jason. She apparently was a Manhattan prostitute. Her parents finally arrived from New Jersey to identify the body.

Dr. Garret Macy, the medical examiner, performed the autopsy and states that she actually bled to death from the numerous cuts on her body. She had been sexually molested while she was still alive and carved on her chest  was this statement.

So far the police have no suspects, but they're making every effort to find out who did this to her and why.
