Iowa says hello.

My r/t has been extremely busy - as it seems everyone else's r/t has been extremely busy, too.  On the 16th, I moved from temp status to permanent status at my job, which is good; but it seems that as soon as i moved to permanent status, people finally felt comfortable giving me work.  I've been transcribing up to six hours a day, which really doesn't leave much motivation to come online and r/p at the end of the day.  Plus, with the summer, my husband and I have been more active w/ stuff like the garden, softball, etc.  So, my time is sort of booked up.  I come by when I can, but I'm sorry it isn't as much as it used to be.  You are all still in my thoughts, I hope you know that.

I received a letter from Roxy two days ago.  She asks that I tell you all hello and send her love.  She thinks about you all often, too.  =)

Enjoy the real time, enjoy the summer. Plenty of time for Tuchuk when a girl feels up to it. Eventually the work will be gotten used to... the garden in... and the summertime events will slow. It is even possible a girl will be able to find the time to join her family. *W* *S*

Job promotions are both blessing and curse.  Place job security and extra pay in one hand, less time and more stress in the other, and it seems to end up a pretty evenly balanced scale of pros and cons.  But like Papa said, your body WILL adapt to the schedule, summer will get just too damned hot for you to want to be outside, and then you'll be in camp with your other family!  Hopefully, by then, Roxy will be back, too.
