If it went through town, it missed us... *smiles warm*

Thanks for checking on us.. We haven't lost power or anything.. Just severe thunderstorm and rains.. We were under tornado watch for a few hours, but like I said, nothing here at the house.

My tornado survival virginity is still intact.

*hugs*

*sheepish look*

welllllll.. it went through town, and I did miss it... LOL

Actually, it wiped out the top part of the new gas station a couple blocks over and stacked a bunch of cars on each other in the grocery store adjacent parking lot, and knocked a transformer into a propane tank, causing it to break a valve and get everyone evacuated out of the immediate area..

Then a second, tiny wannabe-but-not-quite tornado messed around near the creek and the covered bridge but no damage..

Dang it!!  SO CLOSE and I missed WATCHING IT!!  *stamps foot and looks pouty*

woobie, are you one of those ones who want to go chasing after tornadoes? My sister would love to do it, but with her luck, she would end up getting too close and well then her husband would be left to deal with not only his children, but the ones who have been or adopted themselves into the family... ~snickers~

And I agree with Lil on this is one cherry you DO NOT want popped...

Most heartily agreed. Unless you're a stormchaser and well paid at that, I wouldn't go chasing after those things. Just glad y'all are all right and the bloody thing missed you.

Meh.... was working in the shop and ignored it.... but I did enjoy the cooler air blowing through. *G*

No worries.... it hit two streets North of us. For those that attended the Gathering, it was the main street the Motel, Dairy Mart, the oriental buffet, and Wal Mart is on.

We didn't need that new gas station anyway.
