This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday in our Hyatt Regency Tampa Hotel suite, Diego had to drag me out of bed after staying up late the night before. A nice hot shower and some Tylenol eased the hangover from all that wine at the Glazer's mansion. I dressed comfortably in layers since we would be indoors in a luxury suite at the Buccaneers' Raymond James Stadium which is known as "The Crown Jewel of the NFL."
Our Giants fell behind early, but two scores by Brandon Jacobs in the second quarter gave us a lead we never surrendered. The final score was 24 to 14 and we move on to face the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas next Sunday. Diego has already made us reservations at the Hyatt Regency Dallas and we will be in a luxury suite at the stadium. We will also tour the new stadium next door which should be ready for 2009.
Diego had to be back in New York City for his Genovese board meeting on Monday night so we flew home on Sunday night. Diego said there was no sign of Emily Addison at the meeting and our concerns for her health are mounting. Diego said he's worried that the Russian contingency in The Bronx might just have decided to eliminate her.
I was glad to be back in time for my friend, Rachel Tatellio's Tuesday night play. When Yvette had to pass on the role of Miranda and Lizbeth Nickles failed to show up, I rushed in the dressing room and stripped down!
Yes, I stripped down to play Miranda in bed with Mike Miller as Thomas John Anderson in the opening scenes. It required making quick changes for the clothed scenes, then back naked for the second sex scene. Mike's adlibs were pretty humorous and we were all laughing at Rags in the audience. I finally had Mike Miller in bed with me although we, of course, never consummated the deed. Great play, I enjoyed it a lot.
Last week Bobby Campbell flew to Los Angeles with LizBeth Nickles where she posed for the Playboy photographers and eventually won the centerfold spot in their February issue. Some of the photos they will use were taken by Bobby right here in New York City and he dubbed in Central Park over the blue screen background he used in the studio. The rest, including the naked centerfold, were taken in the Playboy studios. I can't wait to see my copy of the February issue.
Diego and I flew to Dallas on Saturday as planned so this column is being faxed from his suite in the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The game will start at 3:30 pm CST, the last game of this weekend. Our Giants have our hands full, but I'm rooting for them. Come on Eli, suck it up!!

This Tuesday night, January 15th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be dark as Rachel continues to run her plays on alternate weeks.
