~starts craving grilled onions~
Thanks woobie... Have to go to the store to get some Vidalia onions, bring them home and start cooking them in a sauce pan with just enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan, then toss in a couple of cloves of garlic, then add the sliced onions to the mix... Cook until the onions and garlic begin to caramelize, turn down the heat and let them cook for a short time longer, while I broil the steak I bought last night at the store... Once the steak is done, I will let it rest as I work on separating the onions and garlic for 2 people, then cut the steak in half, add the mashed purtaters to the plate and bring Ray his plate and then go back for mine, letting Ray enjoy the bloody rare steak first... ~smiles~
This is one of the few things I can cook, as baking is more of my forte and Ray cooks... We make a great team actually... and we have a lot of happy people in the house due to the two of us... ~laughs~
