Insanity; the workout.
« on: February 09, 2011, 09:33:39 AM »
I'm not in the worst shape. But I'm tiring of whining about being too skinny, and been in pain long enough. The other day I had an innoculation done, and wound up getting the clear for my TailBone. It's finally healed up, and my energy level's are finally returning.. So starting tomorrow? I am officially starting the "Insanity" workout dvd program. I want to bulk up, and I am insane. So why not right?

This is the link.

Ah, the insanity with Shaun T....fitness instructor and choreographer to the stars.  Being in the fitness industry, Ive actually looked at P90X, Insanity, Zumba, and the Spartan Warrior Workout to name a few.  These are good workouts granted but it is only as effective as you understand your nutrional needs to get the results you are looking for.  Majority of results can be seen during the 6th to 8th week of training.  Rarely will you see the 30 days as all the "hot new" workouts may claim.  Remember that fine print...."Actual Results May Vary".  Get your nutrion spot on and any workout you choose will be a success!

Remember...."It all starts with the first Rep".

Dedication & Motivation = Positive results!

No new Panther here Medi.

I have looked through all of the information that has come with the package, and fully understand it all. There is a "Elite Nutrition" guide that comes with all of the DVD's. Within it is a combination of food options to utilize, and it is very well setup. Though I'm lucky to have a pretty even diet already the book will come in handy. It has within it recipies, and various meals so you properly fuel your body through it all.

I'm taking this opportunity? To get myself in peak condition, and to also gain the muscle mass I really want. I've always been a very slender figure. Which there is nothing wrong with it. But I am nowhere near as shapely, or strong as I used to be 20yrs ago.

Thank you Raziel for the given advice. I am taking this workout? As a lifechanging opportunity. Not just something I will be doing for 30, 60, 90 days. This is something I want to continue for years to come. Perhaps later on getting back into competitive swimming.

I am ready for the burn. As I very well know?
