...Such a warm voice...perfect for this sad song... :'(

Years ago, an Orchestra that I played in, did a concert with Michael.  He was a very nice man, and I really enjoyed the rehearsal and the concert.   :)  It was at the County Fair, and was heavily attended.   ;D  We rehearsed with him in the afternoon, and the concert was in the evening.  We musicians got a steak dinner after the rehearsal...and FREE BEER!!!  Before the dinner, two of my friends and I each got a huge cup of beer, and walked around, looking at the exhibits.  We went outside the Hall, and I saw some horses in a small corral. I led my friends over to them, and after seeing that the horses were friendly, I made friends with them and showed the other two how to pet a horse.   ;)  As we were visiting with the horses, I looked over and saw two men and a woman sitting at a table, and they were watching us VERY closely.  I figured that they were the owners, and waved to them as we went back into the hall.

The concert was marvelous!  I teared up when we performed the above work.  I was the Principal cello, and actually had a number of short solo passages where I was playing while Michael was singing.   :D  And, I did NOT miss a note or play out of tune.

After the concert, after Michael had taken his curtain calls, we musicians started to leave the stage.  I looked to my left, and those three owners were standing right by the stage, looking at me.  I smiled, and walked over to the edge of the stage and squatted down so I could speak to them.  I figured that they were going to praise my playing...but instead...they said...

"Hey, aren't you the girl who was looking at our horses?"   :o

I told them, "Yes, those are mighty fine animals."   ::)

I just take compliments however I can get one...I don't care about the reason.
