This Week's Gossip
This week I woke up in the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. As usual, Diego was already up sipping coffee while chatting with Ben Bravio back in New York City. I slipped on one of those white terry cloth robes they offer in the more expensive suites, and walked out in the living room. Diego hung up with Ben, then called downstairs for our breakfast.

I teased him about not even being able to take a whole weekend off without worrying about stuff in the Big Apple. He just laughed, gave me a little swat through the robe, and tried to assure me that it's necessary as the Genovese Enterprises CEO. I opened the robe and flashed him. He laughed and said I now had his attention.

We enjoyed the entire day, in spite of the rain, riding the cable cars that were almost empty because of the bad weather. We had lunch at the St. Francis hotel, spent the afternoon at Fisherman's wharf, and had dinner at Scoma's Italian seafood restaurant.

We got up early Monday morning and flew back to New York City where Furio picked us up in the limo. Even the flights in first class were enjoyable. There's no question that Diego Farina sure knows how to offer his women first class treatment. I like him.

Tuesday morning I met Rachel in Central Park for our normal morning exercise. She was buzzing with details regarding the New Year's Eve party at the Four Seasons Club. Denis Leary and Norah Jones provided the entertainment and Rach said they had a nice little crowd. Ed Deline and his lovely wife Jillian were there along with their daughter, Delinda, and Xavier Fallon. Ben Bravio showed up with the beautiful, sexy, Cameron Diaz. Gino tended bar, passed out the champagne at midnight and made sure that all the females were nicely kissed. He even took Rachel and Xavier home to Carnegie Hill. She refused to answer when I asked if Gino spent the night.

I attended Rachel's first play of 2006 play on Wednesday night, Sex and the City - Couda, Woulda, Shoulda. The adlibs were excellent and I enjoyed it as usual. This was the show where Miranda shows up pregnant and also the one where Fallon, as Lucy Liu, gets that $4000 Birkin bag that Samantha wanted.

On Friday night I was sitting in the Four Seasons with Rachel when we saw on CBS News that Abdul Brahim, that terrorist that attacked Judge Helen Gamble, was deported. It's interesting that the day before he was deported, F.B.I. Agent, David Moore, led a raid that arrested six al Qaida terrorists in a building where they found equipment used to build those suicide bombs. Good riddance in my opinion.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, January 11th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Friends - Joey Moves Out. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom, unless Rachel once again needs me in the cast.
