This Week's Gossip
I woke up early last Sunday morning in my Plaza Hotel and headed downstairs where Furio picked me up in a limo to go get Diego at the Columbia University Medical Center. He was fully recovered except for a cracked rib and a large bruise where his assailant had tried to kill him with a silenced sniper's rifle.

After we got Diego home and comfortable in front of the TV in the living room, Furio took me back to the Plaza Hotel where I met Rachel for our normal Sunday brunch in the Palm Court. We spent the morning discussing all the shocking happenings of the weekend.

Rachel asked me who I thought might have tried to kill Diego, but I told her I really didn't know, and if Diego had a clue, he certainly wasn't sharing it.

She slid the front page of The New York Times across the table, then sat there sipping her tea watching the shocked look on my face as I read Hollie Mead's article. Sean McNamara's ex-wife had been arrested for assaulting Sean while wearing that strange Carver costume! For once in a blue moon, Rachel knew tidbits like this before even I did.

Julia was held overnight in St. Vincent's Hospital and will be interrogated at the 5th Precinct once the drugs used to control her wear off and she selects an attorney.

On Tuesday I noticed that the final three numbers in the Dow were, 069. Somebody I know really well had played five dollars on that number and won $2500 dollars. Gee, shopping spree! Lucky me!

In Rachel's Friends play, I got to fill in for Fallon and play Tilly, the sexy young thing that Chandler's new roommate, Eddie, had just broken up with. Veering away from the original script, Eric as Chandler and I had a great time offering each other sexual favors.

One of my secret sources informed me that a well known, and highly regarded, woman in New York City is very concerned regarding some photos of her in the nude that might have fallen into the wrong hands. No, I'm not referring to the problems that Paris Hilton had, which I understand have been resolved. This woman, while attending college, posed in the nude with a well known artist twenty years her senior. He promised never to show anybody these photos, but he passed away last week. My source tells me that the artist's wife now plans to auction off the photos. Sound familiar? Me too. I can't wait to see what happens here.

CBS TV News reporter, Bridget Martin, broke the news this week that two bodies were found floating tied together, back to back, in the Hudson River. One was a green card carrying Russian named Phillip Krabava and the other man turned out to be an illegal immigrant named Lev Loshavko. When the police hauled them out of the river, they found the sniper rifle used to attack Mr. Farina wedged between them. In a strange way, I guess justice was served.

Saturday night, since both Diego and Mike Miller were out of town, I spent the evening at the Four Seasons Supper Club bar with Rachel. Since the expected entertainer failed to arrive, Rachel actually got up there and sang a few Celine Dion and Carole King tunes for us. Rachel has a surprisingly nice voice. I was pleased to see Sean McNamara and Delinda Deline there having dinner with Sean's daughter, Annie, who has just returned from a very harrowing experience in Havana, Cuba.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, March 15th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - The Good Fight. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom, unless Rachel once again needs me in the cast.
