I finally met with Anthony Terriali of D'Amelio Properties Ltd.this week. I entered the Four Seasons Club to find Rachel Tatellio sitting at the bar. As I ordered my normal scotch on the rocks from Gino, Rachel pointed out Tony sitting at the other end of the bar with a $4 Jack Daniels Black before him.
I carried my drink with me as I walked over to introduce myself. I thought he was Italian from his name, but it turns out he's also half Irish. I asked him to join me upstairs for a drink and some private conversation. He seemed pretty stiff, almost insulted by my attitude.
Mila strolled in as we were talking and she smoothed things over a bit, so I brought her along with Tony up to my second floor office. She served our second drinks and sprawled out in her normal "come fuck me" fashion on the huge leather sofa while Tony and I talked.
I explained my concerns over drugs once again being smuggled into the city via the Brooklyn Heights piers. I swear he thought I was dealing drugs and just wanted to eliminate some competition. I think I finally convinced him that I abhor drugs and do everything in my power to keep other families from dealing. I even slip information to the NYPD and FBI through Lindsay Davis at times to help crush these drug dealers.
When I mentioned the Zasa Pharmaceutical firm that I know used to import those illegal drugs late at night via those docks, his interest perked up. He said that he'd look into the matter, not because I asked, but for reasons of his own. He's one tough cookie, but long term we might just manage to get along, especially since he seems to have a thing for Mila.
