Ok.. kinda punch happy here.. *wry grin* lack of sleep will do that to a person.

As of tomorrow Kym will be a month old and while I know I'm lucky that she's only feeding twice during the night, oy... having your sleep disturbed like that makes me very very tired all the time. Normally I've been able to get an occasional afternoon nap in, but the last week and a half I haven't been able to. Nor, as people have doubtless noticed, have I been around, even to check the boards.
We had to do a major house cleaning endeavor around here, furniture movement included. We sold our leather love seat and our chaise lounge, replacing them with a big comfy recliner for the living room, and a glider chair with ottoman for the nursery. We steam cleaned all the carpets, moved the bookcases into the spare room, rearranged all the furniture in the living room, and even found room for our dining room tabe in the living room, altho it's not staying, we're looking for a smaller table, prefferably with a drop leaf on it. Why, you may ask, did we do all this? Because this last thursday Roy's parents showed up for a visit. They left this morning. You see, yesterday, my baby girl joined the Family of God and was baptised at our church. My parents were supposed to come as well, but harvesting issues (namely a rock in a combine and 5 inches of rain) made that impossible. I'm kinda glad, even tho I'd have loved to have had my parents there. Just having his parents here for several days wore me out!
Anyway, they've left, and I have a clean house, so hopefully I'll be able to stop in sometime soon... Kym permitting. She's starting to stay awake at longer stretches during the day so it'll be hard to say when I'll be around. She's tracking my face and voice, has pretty good head control, and is even trying to push herself up on her upper arms sometimes. Now that I'm not frantically trying to clean, I'm looking forward to some major cuddle time. *grin*
Love you all lots, and I miss being around.
