The Meeting

(as Allegra)

It had been a long day at work...all she wanted was to head home and a bath...but to her surprise who should she run into but her father...yes...it was a shock....he was standing on the street and she hadn't been paying attention when she bumped into him..

it was only a matter of moments...perhaps so was too trusting...but she felt as though she knew him...he had a picture of her mother and her and the birth certificate...he had her eyes...though he was older than she thought...he still seemed like a nice man...someone she would want to know...someone she would want to invite into her life...

he did tell her she had a sibling....and that in time he would tell her more...however the really strange part of the night was when he looked out the window and saw some woman he knows...he seemed to be curious about her...though Allegra informed him the woman worked near there or something like that...she wasn't exactly sure...just knew she had seen the woman around the streets...perhasp a hooker...though Allegra had always seen the woman getting into the vehicles that were higher priced than those generally found in this neighbourhood...

it doesn't matter really...what matters if she got to spend a nice evening with her father sharing dinner and conversations about her mother and their life together...she could not tell what Tristan's emotions were when she told him of her mother passing away and the cancer that she had for the past four years...the fight her mother had fought and eventually lost...or how that when she was cleaning up that was when she found out about him...

all in good time...all the answers would be found and she would find some peace in knowing the truth

(as Claire)

Just as she suspected he came for his daughter...the reunion might have been touching to someone other than Claire...but she had a job...an assignment and when it came to that there was really little that got in her way if anything...

it was perfect...he saw her standing at the building as he looked down from teh girls apartment...she knew she had him wondering...and that was what she wanted...that was what would make it easier for him ti want to find her...she kenw he was a man who needed and liked answers...and he would have them soon

as always the excitement of being on a case had her emotions running high...ever fiber in her being calling to that primal desire she felt...though Roy was not help...as though he was a wounded animal...perhaps he did not know her after all...perhaps he thought she had been excited because of Tristan instead it was her reaction to being on assignment...too bad he did not know her like Vinny...Vinny would have taken her right there in that elevator and he would not have been gentle...Roy on the other hand seemed to tease...like he wanted something from her...but all she did in the end was tell him to get out of her room...

she was not one to beg for anything or to even try more than once...she would not try again with him...perhaps a call to Vinny might satisfy her needs...though after Roy left her room all she did was spent the night in her secret room...the lock changed back to her finger prints only...or rather the finger print of one finger...same as all the others...perhaps it was silly to trust Roy with her life...she wasn't sure she could anymore...a call to Lisa might be in order here as she sat watching the monitors and going over the Tristan file once again....

((Posted as Roy Ravelle))

After Claire turned cold and stormed out of the bathroom, I spent the rest of the night going over every inch of her huge two story apartment at 805 Central Parl West. She was a difficult person to read, one that had terrific highs and lows. Just when I thought that I'd penetrated her inner being, she would turn cold and calculating.

I left before she arose and headed home for some much needed sleep. I called Lisa when I woke up at noon and told here where the situation nows stands. This Tristan is in New York City and had met with his daughter Allegra last night. Lisa said she needed to talk with Claire and would get back to me, but insisted that I drop all my other case work and concentrate on Tristan and Claire. I decided to try and nose around Allegra and see if I could find out where Tristan is staying.

[As Tristan Inazaggi]

It was, indeed, a very happy, but unsettling day. What I had suspicions of being a wild goose chase (especially with that pesky Vincent Frucetti obsessing over his capture of me) turned out to be legitimate. The girl I saw in the New York Times ad...And the girl I met headon at her door, waiting for her...Yes, my Allegra was indeed alive and well. It's so striking how closely she resembles her mother- ghastly, to be quite honest. Even more morbid- the last few days I've spent with her, I've noticed "piculiararities"....

The fact that she incessantly seeks out meat for every meal, though she is not health/aerobic nut or even on a crazy crusade to be fit....

Combined with the additional detail that she seems to like her protein a bit on the bloody side; boderline raw, I should say....Just like her old man....[ :o]

Though I believe in no God, I always did pray that none of my kin would reflect in the "eccentric" hobbies and tastes that I have. But it would be a lie if I had said I was disappointed if, in fact, Allegra is a cannibal. You could say it would definitely help in making the bonding times much more efficient...

I wonder if young Anthony shares our same blood lust? I don't know what Allegra is feeling or thinking, but I do know she wants nothing more to find her brother- much to the same sentiments as myself. She had hidden Allegra and my son away from me for good reason and measure- but, as they say, things are meant to change...

As I sit here and enjoy the New York atmosphere from my daughter's apartment, there is another I can't seem to shake...

Amanda. Amanda, Amanda, Amanda....of all the places and of all the peoplein the world....Why? Are you following me? Or is it just a laughable chance- laughable not out of ridiculousness, but because there is, in fact, such a thing as fate and destiny...And for us, it's coming true?
