Audrey Tatellio Diary

Dear Diary,
Been a while since I wrote here in my diary. I was staying with Rachel on Wednesday night, just watching TV and sharing some wine, when Jon Bon Jovi called. Turned out that he's back in New York City for a few weeks. Rach told him to come right on over.

After she hung up, I said I'd pack up my stuff and head for my dorm room at Columbia, but she said I should stay and finally meet Jon. The last time he stayed, over the Christmas holidays, she'd given me the bum's rush out, saying she needed privacy.

I really wanted to meet this stud musician that I'd only seen on TV in the past. When he arrived, he was even sexier than on TV. No wonder sis has the hots for him.

Rach is still dating Mike Miller, the handsome Manhattan councilman, but she says it's not like high school where you wind up going steady with one guy until you get engaged. Neither her or Mike are planning marriage, so I guess dating Jon isn't really cheating.

After spending an hour with them, I excused myself heading for bed in the guest room. I know they needed some privacy. I told them I'd be packed and gone in the morning before they got up. I had a morning class at 8:00 and I was pretty sure they wouldn't be out of bed by 7:00.

I'll be staying at my dorm until Jon leaves. He said he'd be here for a few weeks.

It's been one very exciting week. First Rachel flew off to Boston last weekend to attend one of Jon Bon Jovi's concerts. When she returned she asked me if I'd mind staying over at my Columbia University dorm over the holidays. She obviously wants private time with Jon.

Then who should show up while I was Christmas shopping in the Brooklyn mall but Phil Montzuma, the guy I met back in June. He helped me pick out some sexy panties for Rach in Victoria's Secret. He even bought me a sexy red pair, something he no doubt was hoping to see me in some day soon.

When he heard I was staying at my dorm over the holidays, he offered to let me stay at his house over in Queens. I was really hesitant, since he had disappeared for so long without even calling me, but he said I could use the spare bedroom and even his office on the second floor to study. I'm writing an essay regarding a fake murder for my law school classes and I need some quiet time to get it accomplished. The dorms are pretty noisy over the holidays.

We drove over there in his best up old 65 Mustang and after checking everything out, I accepted his offer. We drove back over to my dorm where I packed an overnight bag. I had no intention to sleep with Phil, but I did slip my diaphragm in my toiletry case. Better safe than sorry.

We had dinner at  Antonios, the little Italian restaurant where we had dinner moths ago. After dinner we went back to his place and he asked me to dance. He said his  stereo DVD player was in his bedroom and I sort of knew what was on his mind. But when we walked in there the first thing I saw on the wall was a picture of Tiki Boyd, the nasty hood that tried to rape me. I was too shocked to function and left the room. He told me later that he's an FBI agent working undercover which is why he had the photo. He swore me to secrecy and asked me not to even tell Rachel.

On Saturday night he took me to the Four Seasons Supper Club where we enjoyed dinner and some very nice dancing. We shared a taxi home and I wound up spending the night in his big bed, a decision I hope I never regret. He's working undercover and who knows when he'll disappear again, maybe forever. It's scary.

What a wild week. First going over to Long Island with Phil and Tiffany to spend the day swimming in that magnificent pool at Felix Roger's huge Oyster Bay mansion. I was stunned when I first saw that place. Felix says he inherited most of his fortune, but dabbles in the stock market along with other investments.

Then today, Phil picked me up in his old 65 Mustang and drove me over to his place in Queens. Can you believe he has a pet alligator named Sparky? Unreal!

He showed me around the place and then took me to a little Italian restaurant named Antonio's where we shared a nice spaghetti dinner. What really shocked me was that while we're eating, some cops came in there and actually arrested a guy at the bar. It was the same guy that gave me the creeps by staring at me as I sat as the bar waiting for Phil to use the men's room.

After dinner, I let Phil give me our first real kiss. Well, actually I sort of kissed him, now that I think back on it. He agreed to take me to Rachel's play later Wednesday night. I like Phil, but we'll have to see where this goes, since I'm not planning to let romance mess with my education.

June 9, 2006

Dear Diary,
I'm finally settled in my dorm room at Columbia University where I'll be attending law school after getting my BS at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. I stayed at Rachel's penthouse suite for the first few days and she said I could stay there in her spare bedroom, but I declined so I wouldn't interfere with her dates. She needs her privacy and so do I.

Gino Caruso, Rachel's friend and a bartender at the Four Seasons, has shown an interest in me and indeed helped me move my stuff over to my dorm room. He's a very attractive guy and I'm sure we'll spend some time together over the next few years.

Last night I had dinner with Phil Montzuma, a guy I met at the Four on Wednesday night. I asked Amy Bilson and her date, Barry Watters, to have dinner with us and she agreed. It was a bit awkward when Phils seemed very disappointed because I'd had my hair cut short that morning at the Carnegie Hill Spa. I know how hot and humid it can get in New York City during the summer and short hair makes life a lot more easy and comfortable.

Amy invited us to join them at the movies after dinner and I would have gone, but Phil wanted me to go over to his new place in Queeens. I decided to decline and just go home. After all, it was our first date and it was pretty clear what Phil's intentions were, a quick conquest in his boudoir. I'm no virgin and not a prude, but I'm not that easy, either.
