I have a gif image that I wanted to use as a board avatar, and have it uploaded. When I go into my profile .. I put the addy in .. and I get a message saying its either not an avatar or too large...........help please (is in a complete brain dead state, most all brain cells have been shut down or are on strike)

If it's any larger than 200 high X 140 wide, it will reject it.  The .gif format should work, though.
