Eoin's Journal

I had a wonderful time in Atlantic City with Tammi for the 4th of July.  As this was my first Independence Day celebration in this country, it was unlike anything I could have imagined.  The parades were as expected, we have them at home in Ireland, but then Tammi and I had a nice stroll along the beach.  When it was getting dark we went back to the high-rise condo that Denny's friend lent him for the weekend.  As Denny wasn't able to make the trip he let me take Tammi instead.  The condo was on the 12th floor and overlooked the ocean.  The balcony made a wonderful vantage point to watch the fireworks.

There was only one word for the fireworks. WOW!... I had never seen a show like that.  I must have acted like a little kid saying "oooo" and "aaah" and asking all sorts of silly questions.  Things that go "bang" in the night are not generally enjoyed in Ireland... especially in the North.

Well the fireworks were really something... and the rest of the evening was as well.  I think it was about 2am when we finally fell asleep in each others arms.  Luckily we didn't have to leave until after lunch on Thursday. She kept looking at me all the way back in the car... just looking and smiling.  I really wondered what was going on in that pretty little head of hers.  When I asked, she just smiled and said she was thinking of ... "possibilities".

"Possibilities"... quite the open ended word that, and I wonder what our future holds for us.  All I know right now is that I want Tammi in mine.
