Sophie Delancy Arrives in New York City
« on: July 09, 2005, 02:39:16 PM »
On Saturday I met with a Sophie Delancy in the Four Seasons Club. I thought it was Maddie and walked over. Turned out to be this Sophia who's a dead ringer for Maddie. We shared a pizza and talked.

I damn near choked on my pizza when she said she was in New York City looking for her father, Domenic Cirillo!!

I told her I'd heard that name before, and said I might be able to help her, but I knew I'd better talk to Diego first. I dropped her off at the Plaza Hotel where she invited me up to room 400. I declined, but agreed I'd pick her up around 9:00 that night and go around to various bars to look for her dad.

I called Diego as soon as she left. He said he and Lindsay had seen this Sophie last night at Babbo's. When I told him she was looking for Cirillo as her long lost father, he said he'd call Cirillo and get back with me.

An hour later he caught me as I was heading into the shower. Turns out Domenic Cirillo is flying back from Sicily tonight with Maddie and Josh. They want me to keep Sophia busy tonight and tomorrow get her over to Diego's place where Cirillo will be staying. That way Cirillo can confirm Sophie is really Maddie's twin sister. They really don't want this to blow up in public!!

Saturday night, instead of touring the city bars, I took Sophie back to my Queens apartment where we could converse in private. I did my best to ease her through what I already knew was true.

I asked her how old she was and when she said she was 20, I stunned her by telling her that her birthday was August 13th 1984.

"How did you know that? Have you been digging in my past?" she said upset with me.

"Nope, but I've dated your twin sister, Madison Cirillo," I replied, then watched as she tried to accept what she was hearing.

She kept saying that she had no sister, but little by little she began to realize that her mother hadn't really shared the entire truth with her, only that her real father was this man named Domenic Cirillo.

I told her that her father wasn't in New York City at the moment, but would arrive sometime on Sunday and I was to stay with her until he was ready to meet with her.

There was a little fuss about where she would spend the night, especially after I explained why I wouldn't be sleeping with her. I knew damn well I didn't want her telling her father she slept with me Saturday night.

She finally acquiesced and agreed to stay at my place, but once again startled me by removing that little pink dress with absolutely nothing under it right in front of me. My ideas of her being a virgin were gone instantly. She crawled in bed as I watched and said goodnight. I grabbed a pillow and blanket out of the linen closet and retired to the guest bedroom for the night.
