This Week's Gossip
Barbara Barton was cute when she woke up naked in a strange bed last Sunday, mine. She was blushing beet red when she asked how she got there. I just laughed and told her nothing serious had happened, I just brought her home drunk from Mahoney's Irish Pub Saturday night. She needed protection from all the ogling guys.

We showered, dressed and enjoyed a nice brunch downstairs in the Palm Court. Our conversations were pretty interesting. She insists she has no idea who the mugger was that killed her husband. Barb has indeed hired Katie Donovan as her attorney to keep Detective Scotty Valens off her back.

They finally met in an NYPD interrogation room and from what Barbara told me later in the week, it was rough, but with Katie's help she got through it successfully.

This time Barbara took me back to her place, showed me around, and I spent the night there. We're becoming friends but she still closes up if I ask too many questions. At least we're enjoying each other's company.

I understand through some of my sources that Yvette must have met with that agent she hopes will find her work as an actress. I hope that's not one of those sleazy types that will try and get in her pants while promising her success here in the Big Apple.

Rachel said she heard from Samantha today. Things are looking up in Boston with Sam's mother and she hopes to be back in New York City soon. Meanwhile, Diego has hired Poison to provide a show in the Four Seasons Supper Club this Saturday night. I did catch a glimpse of their lead singer, Bret Michaels, having dinner with Trina DeMarco this week.

The editor of Dirt magazine, Lucy Spiller, invited me to dinner at Del Posto tonight. I'm not sure what's on her mind, but I'm sending off this fax before I head over there in case we're out late.

Entertainment
Due to Kate's nasty fall and death, and a few others experiencing difficulties, Rach will set her plays at rest for a while, but they will return.
