On Monday night the meeting went well with Mike Miller,David Dewher, Ana Demetrius, Angela Black and last, but not least, Mayor Bloomberg present.
We went over the upcoming November elections where Ana, Mike and David will win in landslide votes. Carly Carpenter still has some work to do and she's out there daily in The Bronx working her heart out. We're helping.
But the two areas that need a change are Queens and Brooklyn. The mayor agrees. I suggested Denny Mahoney in Brooklyn to replace the always away Cameron Diaz. Mayor Bloomberg isn't as optimistic about Denny's chances as I am. but he will meet with Denny for lunch or dinner to discuss it. I like Denny's blue collar approach in Brooklyn where he's pretty well known as the owner of Mahoney's Irish Pub. He'll get the working man's vote, the labor unions support and women think hes handsome and interesting.
We're looking for somebody to run against the Republicans in place of Robert Jackson in Queens, since Robert seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
Mayor Bloomberg meets with Council at least once a month and he'll be open to suggestions.
