This Week's Gossip
I guess the three of us woke up at the same time last Sunday morning, Barbara, Mary and me, all cuddled up naked in Barb's king sized bed. We lay there joking around about poor Carl sleeping in her guest bedroom after getting all liquored up last Saturday night at the Four Seasons.

Barb was up first, showered and dressed before I shared the shower with Mary. We were in the kitchen nook eating breakfast when Carl stumbled in, asking what the hell happened last night. Barb explained that he was too drunk to send home safely, so she just brought him home with her.

As Carl tried to get some juice down. Mary asked him I he might be willing to take Seamus Clark's place in the novel she was hoping to write. Carl was all for it since her name would draw the readers he so desperately required. It will be interesting to see how this works out.

On Tuesday evening Rachel asked me to play Dana Scully in the Kidnapped play she was offering at her Creative Arts Theatre. It was fun adlibbing in the play with Rachel, Yvette, Dami, Tim and James. Lots of James' white cotton panties jokes. Yvette was in a wild mood, tossing in some quite sensual jokes. Her boyfriend, Jason, arrived  during the play which added to the entertainment. One of Rachel's old regulars, Eric, showed up again tossing in a few comments from the audience. Rachel was last seen twisting Eric's arm about taking a rolel in her Friends play in two weeks.

On Friday my numbers came up again, 069, the number I play daily for ten bucks. Diego called to congratulate me and offered to deliver the money that night. I told him I was a bit busy and suggested that he meet me at the Four Seasons Club on Saturday night with my prize. Turns out Diego was busy with a date and sent Eoin with the cash instead.

I spent Friday night watching Swingtown, that delightful summer TV show that is taking the nation by storm. Another clever show where Trina Dekker held her annual Puzzlerama game where Janet finds out her husband, Roger, spent some private time with Susan in the Dekker pool and Susan's hubby spent his time during the game kissing his Wall Street co-worker, Melinda. Intrigue reigns!

I was sitting at the Four Seasons bar Saturday night with Sarah Gallows, a lady I had just met. It seems that she works as a quality control expert for Mead Westvaco, a firm that manufactures a product in a nearby New York factory. I had a charge open with Shannon as usual so I told her to just add Sarah's wine to my tab. A few minutes later in walked Robert Jackson, the VP of Citibank and the councilman in Queens.

My cell phone vibrated and I stepped away to answer it. It was Eoin telling me that he had just finished up his massages at the Carnegie Hill Spa and wanted to meet to give me my "lottery" winnings. We agreed that it might be better if he just picked me up out front in a taxi.

When I returned to the bar to pay my tab, Robert and Sarah were deep in conversation, so I bid them good night and stepped out front just as Eoin arrived in a Yellow Cab. Twenty minute later Eoin and I were once more in my Plaza Hotel suite where I offered a nightcap, him drinking a Guinness and me drinking more wine. I counted the five thousand dollars and signed off the marker before our more serious negotiations began. Another twenty minutes slipped by before we agreed to pass on the massage there and simply schedule one at the Spa next week. I think Eoin has fallen head over heals for his boss, Tammi Hanlin.

After Eoin left, I finished my gossip column and faxed it in before going on line in my favorite chat room, Pleasure Palace.
