Please to begin............


A good story has a beginning, a middle,………………………. and an ending. 



Once upon a time, a beginning started when kay first posted: 'da board, da board fred'.   That beginning continues without an end, as the middle is being extended-out......................... as they further, now, 'the' beginning to no end?  _{[ huh?...........pauses to reflect?]} 

OH yeap! ONE can quickly remember: 'The Never-ending Story'  that has been written and produced into an excellent children's movie (that fred really enjoys and gave it "two (2) thumbs up"); and that this story, in no ways copies that (except in its possible length?). 

The daily adventures  of  kay&fred  tripping over da board, may seem humourous and/or ridiculous  at times,  but in reality ...............  is a  true reflection of their lives?   How else could they (both to them) write a good story if not taken from their real lives.

Their daily  adventures also  seems like attempts to track and record (in this -- what they call their living journal) their feelings and emotions of the day.  On da board, da board: one can read their tears, their joy, their happiness, their arrest record, and their hopes for the future.  A slice of real live served UP on a silver platter -- that is need of some TarnishX.  Please to pass another slice of humble pie my way?

there always a flow in kay&fred's conversation, and somehow kay is always ONE up on fred:

fred types: " and I have seen your picture in your yellow raincoat...........in your starter 'boots' " 
and kay's comeback is: " *jumps in a puddle* and splashes fred.... "
and fred tries for his comeback : " kay......... you must be careful
*jumping & splashing in mud puddles could lead to this*
     

at least ALL are smiling?.......... yeap.............. that's IT!
They obviously have FUN messaging each other.

and from a year ago around father's day.......

kay types:  "  Happy Father's Day fred!
I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day on Sunday fred ~hugs~
Enjoy your special day....YOU deserve it
*hands you a bell*  just ring it when you need something *rolls my eyes* lol "
fred replies: " *singin now*  " I can RING your bell ? " oh kay? "
kay adds: "  Oh dear Lord....I should of known.....lol
*grabs the bell*
YOU can have the bell back on Sunday....and not a minute before!  *mumbles* and *shakes my head* lol  "

this flow in their conversations?  could remind one of:  "burns&allen" "pete&repeat"  "twopeas in a pod"

 " it is becoming more more obvious that after all these years of chatting together; we have somehow come to: copy each other in many things we do?  i.e.  ordering the same food at the same time though miles apart?, somehow managing to do the same chores at the same time, and even thinking alike.........................
My real concern now, is that we are apparently dressing alike? "

HOPE you are staying cool?  I'm just sitting on the side of my pool with my feet dangling in the pool and opening another COLD miller lite.  boy, it's hot out here but someHOW..........I'm staying cool!

"THE Story" continues.......................

take this little vignette from last year (right after a day (or two) of eating (hot dogs, nachos and cotton candy) & drinking beer (and more beer) at the ball park:
kay asks: " fred....I just might need a refreshing lemon ice this afternoon....hahaha  ~hugs~ "
fred replies:" kay ? ? ? ............. it would be my pleasure (your cabana boy, that I am) to bring you a lemon ice, this afternoon."
kay retorts: "   Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cabana boy!  ~waves over here~ One lemon ice please!   "

kay asks and fred................ always gets (isn't that the way life is?)  but if you notice, despite the bantering back&forth; there always seems to be an underlining theme of friendship.  What friend won't do something for the other?  They would do it for the other 'just because' and expect nuttin in return.............. but the "THANK YOUs" is always close from the other.  That is the way they are!

Ever wonder what their fixation is in: "turning da page?"

In reality, they both like 'winning'!  NO matter what the game.  oneUPmanSHIP is always betweeen them.  Many times, they will make up their own 'online' pingpong game by talking the ball, back and forth over the net.  WOW.. following those conversations are mine-boggling;  "he said, she said!"
and try hangman online (with the other one slightly changing the word as letters are correctly guessed?)

"the story" continues..........................

There have been many attempts, thru the years, at psychoanalysis of:  'da board, da board' by many accomplished psychoanalysts. 
                                                                      Many terms like: 'psychodrama', 'psychogenesis', 'psychokinesis', 'psychologize',
and 'psychopathy' have been used and applied to the two (2).  Psychosis and psychotomimetical was once used to describe an adventure they had in 1999.  Their daily adventures are full of double and triple meanings, (a psycho-thriller) that makes analysis difficult................. unless one understands with "Psycho"sis aside, they appear, from all general concerns & purposes, to be: "just plain having fun".  AND FUN is what it is!
Their daily trips (psychedelic)    on da board was primary for entertainment purposes only and for themselves only.  MINDS, wondering about, seeing: a little humour in each day to brighten one lives.  Life is tuff enough...... see a little humour in it................... for they believe life is taken far too seriously, too often. 

{fred has been seen taken his values and experiences from da board and has been trying to: "sell his wares: in hope of: .

fred has now been trying to sell this idea as the "NEWEST and Greatest diet pill solution!}

The pre-conclusion:

What does it ALL mean... 'da board, da board' in the vastness of the cosmos in which we dwell?  What philosophical BS does it represent? 

When asked, of fred, his reply was:  "huh?  What did you ask?"
                                                                             . 
He is still apparently trying to figure out "warp-drive" and why Captain Picard doesn't have hair in the 24th century  --  you think by then, hair would of been invented so one always had a full, head of it?  (another hair-brain idea from fred?). 

kay, the gracious one, when asked, replied: "It's fun and a nice way to start one's day -- with a smile."  -- which reminds me (the smiley face) of a M&M's now,  pass them over buddy!"

Yes, they're light-hearted  but NOT light of heart.  These two individuals (and they are definitely -- one of a kind,  not sure what kind? ) are both: warm, caring heartfelt persons.  Both appreciate and are thankful of what is given unto them and glad to share with ALL.  A smile is always on their faces and in their words -- just look into their words and sense their happiness in each other and the world around them.  LIFE is good!

This story has obviously rambled-on for a full week now?  The week that kay was on vacation? 
The attempt of da story was twofold:
1) keep 'da board' active
and
2) instead of the 'usual' 37 emails in kay's postbox upon her return from holidays...............da story is the one-stop 'stop&plop' reading place for her?

Again, this may show their continue commitment to da friendship that has lasted all these years.  A motto of their's could be: "I'll be there": maintaining, posting and rambling On (& 0n & On)-- until your return.

We have finally reached the summit of this story
                                                            but now realized we should be moving again, down this hill and up the next mountain.

It was a pleasure to 'stop and plop' here reading your funny journal. I was laughing out loud!  I now need a vacation from the vacation.  It's hard having fun?  lol  I love going, but I sure love coming home too.  We had a wonderful time.  Fun was had by all
