Actually, if you kill them on the other side of the sneeze guard, it will protect just fine.  Just have to watch the area between the glass and the counter where the gap is.

( since I have a few seconds before dressing a four year old to go to the park))..... if they have previously charged you the two extra dollars for double meat you need to enquire about a possible policy change... but still in all retail circuts the general policy is customer first. which means even if you know its against policy at times you have to bend that rule to keep customer satisfaction in the proper venue which is what should have been done at this point. this where also keeping reciepts becomes paramount because if you have proof that this is how the previous meals were purchased and served then they have to honor it... its their reciept and thus can't be disputed..  I personally don't eat at subway simply for the reason that they do use stablizers in their bread dough.  all of their meats are NOT cut on site and most of their veggies are sprayed with a product called stay fresh which is a chemical to retard the natural process of cellular break down....so basically... your getting all this stuff that is supposed to be nutritional but its covered in artificial preservatives and synthetic chemicals..while i realize we use alot of things simply as a convience... one thing that I have noticed in a little experiment I have been running since right around christmas.... I have lost more weight simply by removing all store bought bread, prepacked veggies.... and over processed meats from my household.... gone back to doing it old school.  my daughter has stopped having headaches...and overall i have more energy.  just something to think about.  and yes. for what you would have paid for a double meat sandwhich...everything you need to make a full triple meat poboy (hoagie, sub, grinder or any other term insert here).  can be found at your local grocery. and as planting season is upon us... support your local farmer. buy fresh local produce.

....walks into subway....

....gets told it's an extra five dollars...

...stands there...good five minutes...blank look on my face.....

...reaches into my pocket......retracts hand.....grenade in hand.....

....proceeds to look at the grenade.....rolling it in my hand.....waiting five minutes.....eventually looking back to the counter.....

.....sees that the teller is gone and all prior patrons have left.....

....watching a napkin sail oh so softly to the floor from a table where a prior customer has left a half eaten sammich.....

.....shrugs.....stuffs the grenade back into my pocket and proceeds to make myself a sub sandwich.....

....hears sirens.....continues to add extra meat to my sandwich....noticing a camera on the wall.....waves to it......goes back to eating my sandwich.....

.....gets myself a soda from the cold box.....finishes my sammich....looks to the window...more sirens.....bomb squad.....drinks my soda....

....goes to use the restroom....comes back out....finishes my soda......leaves five bucks on the counter...walking out the door....

....sees the bomb squad.....sirens....cop choppers.......smiles....calmly walking towards the guy with the mega phone.....

....hears him tell me to empty my pockets.....nodding......noticing at least a dozen rifles, pistols and various forms of assault weapons pointed at me......

....reaches back into my pocket......drawing out the UNLOADED grenade...from the vietnam era along with a little card that has been printed out by UNLV that says thank you, blah blah blah for your lecture on nam era........

Never had that problem. But then again, I live in Canada. We always do things differently here. If they tried that when I go in to get a cold-cut combo...

That's cuz Canadians are just too nice for their own good.  Never see them in the news for Civil Wars, unrest, murderous rampages, disgruntled employees and such.  DARN you cannucks!!
