Apparently I do have a kryptonite here on this rock called earth. Penicilin. I have one of those rare severe allergic reactions to it and any derivitive of it that can cause anaphalactic shock. Beeen in the ER since 3 pm today...fastest I have ever been seen, given a room, doctor diagnosis, Nurses cocktail injection and put under...all in less than 30 minutes. Apparently throat closed up and was on a breathing machine till about 9:30pm when doctor pulled me off it and said the rest is up to me. 2 hours later, Im home.
Tell you what...a double shot of prednisone injected into a vein...felt like molten lava from the hand, to the wrist, up the forearm, passing the elbow, over the bicep, around the curve of the shoulder and into the middle of the pecotoralis major. I felt it moving the whole way, on fire. Throat tubes taste like talcum powder and my body feels like I was hit by a freight train.
