Last night I boiled the fat, rendering it and turning it into tallow... it has sat overnight and cooled, producing a hardened, PURE tallow that can be used for soapmaking. I wn't be in Camp tonight so I will continue the process tomorrow (sunday) since the next step isn't a "leave overnight" thing.. just very time consuming.
