I also saw such a message on msn. It did make me laugh.
I do not have a phd in psychology. Though I have learned a lot about multiple personality disorder. I have a friend who has it. I find it interesting. --said friend-- has 3 distinct personalities. I even passed the joke along to one of the personality's, and said personality? did laugh about it. I know people who are schizophrenic(including my mom), psychotic, manic depressive, bi-polar, ADHD, OCD,Down Syndrome, etc etc. Though. I'm not going to get offended over a joke. Even if it is made in bad taste? I know the persons intentions are not claiming ''wow that would be funny if a MPD committed suicide". Because it wouldn't be to anyone with morals, or sense.
Just like if someone made a joke about natives, canadians, asians, net nerds around me? I don't care, its a joke. Anything I read. Usually I take with a grain of salt, or simply ignore the immaturity at the time. Depending on the comment, joke, quote.
blah. I know I've said alot here. kadi? I fully understand where you are coming from. Just try and breathe, it's not as harsh as it seems at first glance darlin. -hugs-. I just hope this helped you understand it wasnt a direct insult in any way.
Here are a couple of hehe's from me.
A Gemini Bipolar friend:
"I am Gemini AND bipolar. Watch it or all 4 of us are going to kick you ASS"
bi polarism
"How many bi-polar's does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Dunno. All depends what mood they are in"
Anyways. -grins n leaves hugs-..not meaning to insult anyone here. Those jokes above easily could be pointed at me. But sometimes the most lame things said? Can be funny. All depends on the prespective in the end.
