New Addition

Well... I decided I have been without a best buddy long enough. I have missed my pitbull Major since he passed on, and a large empty spot remained for several years. I never replaced Major as you all know my health was not so great and I did not wish to commit to a dog only to quite possibly leave him behind for woobie to deal with.

With my improving health, my hopes of having a new buddy has been growing and today I have been granted a new best buddy.

Family... friends... meet Diezel!!!



Now, allow me to put this in perspective. That is a picture of Diezel at 2 1/2 weeks of age. The girl holding him is about ten or eleven years old. Yes.... Diezel will be a monster when he grows up. He is a Saint Bernard/Husky mix.

Ubar Duffy the cat now has a serious ASKARI in training.

He looks wonderful, Rags, he has found a great Master.  

Animals are great companions, and add a lot to the health of their owners.

Things around here will be interesting. Diezel farted in the car on the way home from his adoption. Woobie blinks, looks and me asking, "DID YOU FART??!!!"

I replied as I laughed, "Nope. That was Diezal! Like Father like Son!"

Woobie's only reply as she leaned closer towards her open window was, "OH MY GOD!!!"

From a person whom has grown up with two St Bernards I wish you luck with Diezel.... I hope he becomes 200 lbs like my first and has the potency of a fart like my last one.. they are amazing loving animal and very protective... best bit of advice i have for you.. hope i make it to visit you and bring some fresh raw meat for him with some nice bones to chew on... number two get a horse hair brush.. its worked wonders with Scooby and Boss... it helps when they try to press into you and knock you over like they love to do...

and just to let you have a few hopes of what the little guy may be as big as I have a few pics of the Monsters that grew up on the Wapike Family Farm...

This is Boss.. he was a total of 175 lbs and was deaf... and had one hell of a bark.. so when he did bark it scared the hell out of you..



This is Scooby.. he made the Beethoven dog look like a poodle.. and had the mean streak to prove it.. he was about 200lbs... just to prove a point. our Big Buck sheep with horns had three legs when I got home as a kid.. he messed with the wrong dog..and thats a full size recliner he is sitting in... so I hope your little guy trumps them both Bro... I know I have loved the Both Of My Cujo's... may yours be as much as these two meant to my family...

awww poppa! your puppy is so cute!!

but huge!! you doggy= like twelve of my doggy put together.

also I suggest getting one of those things... called "chuck-its" to throw the tennis balls... I wouldnt want that big ole puppy drooling all over me

awww Diezel looks utterly adorable!!! years back my favorite dog...ever...was a half St Bernard, half German Rottweiler...smartest, sweetest, most protective dog on the face of the planet...however, even when he was bigger than a Shetland pony...he still thought he was momma's lap dog ~lmao

enjoy him!! and can't wait to see him next year at gathering ;)

2 days shy of 7 weeks, he can carry a tennis ball around in his mouth. He can get into and out of the bathtub on his own, and his favorite past time is hiding chewy bones in my shoes and now that he has discovered he can bark, he likes to bark at Ubar Duffy..
