A passing

I simply wanted to inform everyone that today was my daughter's great grandmother's birthday.  She turned 81 years young today.  And today was her last birthday.   Yesterday, getting ready for her birthday weekend with her friends and us as we were going down to celebrate,  she was at the salon getting her hair done and a pedicure like she does about every two weeks.  She went to switch chairs and slipped and fell, hitting her head.  She died today.  Too much pressure from hemorraging in her head. 

The toughest part was explaining to my daughter that her Nana had passed and she wouldn't be able to see her anymore.  I have seen death, been a part of it,  and even caused it.  But explaining it to a child is one of the hardest things I've had to do.  Say a prayer or send some well wishes if you can for my girls and my wife's side of the family.  It's been a struggle the last two days for them, and I feel a little bit drained holding them together. 

Thank you, everyone that's has ever been a part of my life, either good or bad.  I learn from every experience and am glad of anyone that's been a part of it.

Except those fuckers I buried in the desert.
