Entry 1
It was a relaxing journey to The Point made without incident.
We had a few raindrops at night along the way, but not enough to really even be noteworthy. The temperatures are hot during the day cooling just a bit during the night (mid 80's and 70's respectively +-).
The only wagon accompanying us on this trip is one heavy freighter which is being given an overhaul in the wagon repair yard. The bosk have been turned out to graze Vosk (South) of the repair yard in good tall grass along with another bosk and two tarsk in case food was needed during the trip.
All the mounts have been checked in to the livery and will be well groomed, boarded, and fed every three days during our stay. Our tack and gear will also be seen to, and if any wish to go riding, their mount(s) may be checked out and returned at no additional cost provided the tag affixed to their rein has not been removed or lost. It is a small round metal disk which is number stamped and tied on with a leather cord to help prevent water damage or mishap.
Since we arrived early morn, The Point was busy but not as hurried as it is during our normal pre-migration supply. It is much more relaxed and nowhere near as crowded.
Everyone followed the Ubara's lead up to Ubara's Nest where all wait for Ubara's Own within to turn out and welcome her. (RP was paused at this point.)
If you are in the Ubara's good graces, and have not recently pissed her off, she may permit you the pleasure of staying which will save you the cost of a room at the Inn, providing rooms are available in the Nest. The Ubara will assign your accommodations and give you a quick rundown of her rules and what areas are off limits.
You may, if you wish, secure quarters at the Inn if you wish and your coin pouch will support your decision.
As it is not yet time for resupply of the Wagon Camps, prices on most items should not be overly expensive. Bear in mind also, that some inventories will not yet be fully stocked.
Relax, enjoy, and rest while able. Partake of what The Point offers before we return to camp and begin preparations for our march South again.
