The Genovese Enterprises monthlu board meeting went quite well. Mike Miller, Emily Addison, Angela Black, and Colin Martino were there and Tuesday night marked the return of my old secretary, Cathrine Bellio Nightstar. Maria will remain as my day to day secretary and Cathrine will assist as our part time bookkeeper and back up secretary.
I opened the meeting by advising the group of the robbery of my Four Seasons Supper Club last Saturday night. I'd asked the police to hold back any press releases regarding the robbery of both the Four and Lindsay Davis' Plaza Hotel suite. The highly talented thief left calling cards at both locations, referring to himself as "The Cat", a title that Lisa Cohens of the FBI said is a name used internationally many times. Even though this isn't considered an FBI problem yet, Lisa is making some efforts to help track down this thief.
There was a phone number there and when you dial it, all you get is a message saying, 'The Cat isn't present at the moment, but leave a message." He's never returned that calls and the police have determined he used a cell phone which was left in an untraceable location.
I requested that if anyone stumbles on any information on this clever thief, please let me know. For all we know it could be some smart ass college kid looking for attention.
Our Refuses Removal Inc. division under the capable leadership of James Fells, netted a nice profit of one point five million dollars, although we did purchase two new trucks in each borough. That's part of out plans to gradually recycle and improve our equipment. Mr. Colin Martino, the president of the local Teamsters is pleased with our efforts there, I'm sure.
Our current construction projects under Ben Bravio and his Genovese Construction Inc. firm brought in over $3,500,000 last month.
