Gor Books
« on: June 25, 2006, 06:23:51 AM »
I have a few extra Gor books that I'll be bringing to the Gathering for those attending who might not have, or perhaps my Cherished can use them as prize material for the contests, etc.  I won't be charging for the books.  Nope, I'm not giving up my Gor collection; I've simply completed the collection with mostly first-print versions and these extra are the Masquerade publishing company re-prints and in very good condition.

The books I have are as follows:

  • Outlaw of Gor
  • Priest-Kings of Gor
  • Raiders of Gor
  • Hunters of Gor
  • Marauders of Gor
  • Tribesmen of Gor

Like I said, for those coming to the Gathering, I'm offering the books free of charge.

I'm cleaning out my entire library of non-Gorean books as well.  I have to make room for my complete Laurell K. Hamilton collection and the possibility that the Maximum Ride novels will explode to many many more in the series!   ;D

~looks at that cute face~  okay, okay, i'll bring some of my other stuff too, what i can carry down 6 flights of stairs to my truck that morning i leave... i gotta lot of spy type stuff.... murder suspense horror macabre .... you name it... except no mushy stuff... ~shudders~   i also have an extra in the Anita Blake series --- "Micah" --- it's a hardcopy brand new.

Laurell's great!  i got to meet her when she was in NYC doing a signing party.... by other vamp authors, you mean besides the diva herself, Anne Rice?   None really specific, maybe one or two here and there.  i've found most to be dry and repetitive of others' works ------- but if you have some good suggestions, i'm all ears? (or is that eyes  ::) ?)    ;D

heh. there is a book for you to read then ameesha.. hmm.. what was it called again.. -runs to look- "Blow Me Down"  Katie MacAlister.. she is a great author. funny, and fun.. she also did the following that I have read : "Men In Kilts", "A Girls Guide to Vampires", "Sex, Lies and Vampires", "Hard Day's Knight" (all around a Ren Faire) , "You Slay Me", "Fire Me Up" (sequel to You slay me, about a "gaurden" and the "dragon" which is supposed to be her mate.).  She also wrote "Sex and the single vampire" which I havent read yet.
