Update on us

Yesterday, D's mother had a stroke, so we flew out last night to Chicago. 

The severity of the stroke is not yet known, completely.  She will be going through some additional testing today to see the extent of the damage.  We are hoping that it is minimal, but it is known that there is at least some. 

Our plan is to go ahead and fly from here into Ohio tomorrow, if things go well here. 

Please pray that all goes ok.  D is very close to his mother, as some of you know.  He's terribly upset.

Please, continue to keep D's mom, His family, and D, in your thoughts and prayers..  His mom had another stroke early this morning, and things are looking really bad for her..

Yaya has asked me to come and post for her this morning,  Ds mother passed away this morning,  they are still there and i am assuming they will be for a few more days atleast, please keep Yaya and D in your prayers,  He is taking this extremely hard

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers..  We've planned the funeral for Friday..  This has been terrible for D, because as some of you know, He was very close to His mother..  *sighs softly*

nothing ever takes away the pain of such a loss.

i once thought in time the pain would lessen but although it is pushed back and is no longer always at the forefront of our lives it remains ever-present in our hearts.

time does naught heal all wounds. we never fully get over it.

what we can do is continue on and keep the memories in our hearts and minds and live on to live life. to see things our loved ones can no longer see... to experience things they can longer experience. to come to appreciate all things for what they are and find the good in all things. we do this for ourselves... and for them as they have taught us to do.

remember them and they are naught dead. they will live on forever in us. pass on their memories and what they taught us to others.

one is only truly dead when they are forgotten.

never, ever, forget.
