Message Board Guidelines

Use of the WEBMAZE™ message board

The WEBMAZE™ message board, like all message boards on WEBMAZE™, is not restricted to members only. As all theme sections on WEBMAZE™, Realms has needs and particularities that set it apart from the rest and require the freedom to swerve somewhat from habitual rules of chat, in order that the theme not be destroyed by lack of consistency.

The following few guidelines then, apply to use of the WEBMAZE™ message board:

Usual WEBMAZE™ policies with regards to child pornography, racism, bestiality, hate speech and privacy apply.

No room transcripts please. If you have an event you need to share with others, put it up on a page and post the URL on the wall, not three miles of room posts. Room logs will be deleted.

Any post that supplies confidential information on another party will be removed: this includes IPs, ICQ numbers, e-mail addresses and anything that discusses another's personal life unless it is your own.

Any post which contains recruiting for homes of other sites. While WEBMAZE is always happy to serve the community by offering a forum for the announcement of events and happenings, blatant recruiting moves beyond the line of common courtesy.
Thank you for showing our home the respect any guest would. -s-

Use of anonymous aliases: Posting the wall under names such as 'one who knows', 'one who was there', 'just a girl', 'wondering' etc... will result in the post being deleted. The same applies to any post that claims to speak on behalf of a group i.e. : names like 'subbies ananymous', 'Doms R Us', unless the post supplies the names of those included in the group. Anon postings will be tolerated so long as they are limited to questions, announcements, neutral information and such. Opinions, especially if they are directed, will be deleted unless they are signed.

Content void ad hominem insults : Threads which leave behind discussion based solely on ISSUES rather than individuals and move to the position of being nothing more than personal name-calling and insults without leaving any basis for actual discussion. This is not to say that heated argument will not become impolite or insulting; rather that when it degenerates so as to no longer *be* an argument but simply an insult-trading match, then it brings nothing of value to the Message Board and will be removed.
