*Curling up on the couch, reading Thur my journal, than picking up a pen and starting to write*
So much has happened since I last wrote in here. I will just stick to the facts for the most part. Going into details isn't really necessary as much of it will be burned in my memories for the rest of my life.
The man Dec was hunting is dead. His job with the FBI finished. I thank god for that. For now his debt to them is paid and he's a free man. In more ways than they think or will ever need to know.
He also found the one thing he wasn't looking for. Something he's needed but wouldn't admit. He's fallin' in love again. He's not the type of man to be alone for the rest of his life. I sometimes doubted he would ever let himself fall again. But Molly McGaffery is just who he needed to help him live again.
But as usual I'm straying from what I wanted to record in here.
Declan's association with Molly and her father helped to flush out the man the FBI sent him to find and take care of. I do believe he was also the man that was following me. Cabe is dead that's all that matter's. As far as the FBI knows Dec killed him in the subway station down the street from Molly's apartment. Mick O'Toole is also dead. To say I won't lament either is putting it mildly. To make a long story very short. Dec and Molly were to meet me at the station so that I could give Dec part of Sean's journal. Mick had followed me there as he wanted the journal and a hold over me. Dec shot him as he approached me. What none of us knew was that Cabe had been following them. Once Mick was dead he stepped out of the shadows putting a gun to Molly's head. He threw Dec into shock when he brought up a name even Dec and I hadn't mention in nine long years. Catherine. He admitted to killing her. Nine years of not knowing who took her life, wondering why she was killed all fell into place. He made Dec get rid of his gun, he slid it close to where I was hiding. I had only one thought in mind. That was to kill the bastard. I grabbed the gun and while he was taunting Dec about Catherine and the promise of taking Molly from him as well. I came up behind him and calmly shot him Thur the head. Dec took the gun from me and told me to run. He and Molly dealt with the police and the FBI. But I knew that both of us would have to explain Catherine to Molly and my relationship to Dec. Cabe had made that something we couldn't hide from her anymore.
