Things to come...

[As Tommasi...]

[A snipet from my last role play in the room...]

~He was back on a flight to assume the role of the lesser Tommasi. He hated himself for looking forward to it. Not because of the newly established connections to the casinos in the region... But because he would be returning into the arms of "his" love, "his" Summer. And because he knew that no matter what he did, at least he would know in his mind that she was never truly his... But would always remain as "his" in the back of his mind... Making things even worse still, he had always seen this day coming... The day where the bonds of friendship became just that. A leash: something that choked the life out of another, keeping that man away from what was rightfully his. Respect. Power. Dominion. In truth, he would have no problem pulling on the trigger on any of the three he called "friend," "brother." No, his anguish was that he had anticipated having time on his side to do the deed. He sympathized with Mario the most, him having found a forbidden love himself in the form of Summer. Oh, he knew of Syn's connections to the Chicagoland mob. Afterall, he was a GM of sorts- he had to know the history of any and all hireds because it just comes with the territory when you're on top. Alas, his sympathy ended for his hot-blooded friend when he realized how whipped Mario had become for the sake of what he thinks is love. To him, Syn will ultimately mark the end of Mario in some way, shape, or form... And, ah yes, Eduardo. He had always hated the son of a whore their entire tenure as "running mates," "partners." It was true, having an insane, rabblerouser like Ed was quite the luxery for a ringleader- it eliminated all the cons for doing a job, while enabling you to own all the resulting rewards as soely your own. No, he had always been the contact man- they guy who knew how to read and play all the right people to get himself in the "in." But it was Eduardo who had the audacious gall and reckless abandon to taunt death itself that put all four of them over the top and not just settle on reaching the bar... Like his mother had taught him: it was much better to step on a weed as a sap before giving it a chance to grow and invade over everything; and so it was Eduardo he had secretly desired to kill for the longest time- especially when Ed could easily pool the shared wealth of the Don's kingdom against him and rally a man like Mario to his side/cause- those two were already the best of friends before crossing paths with him, afterall... And then there is Donatelli. The one guy that reminded the Tommasi Don that a thing like a conscience still existed in him. Donnie: so straight, dependable, and true. A man with no ambition that the other three brothers possessed, but only of the kind to maintain harmony in order to upkeep the prosperity. Giacomo was truly the only good guy amongst them. However, it's those who like to keep in the shadows that made the Don so fretful. He kept the other two on long leashes- it's easier to shoot a stray dog from a distance when it least expects it. But Donnie, he kept him on a short leash. Because of the same reason he kept Mario and Eduardo on a long leash. You never know who will turn their back on you. Donatelli is perfect. Too perfect. He would have to be ready to stab Donnie in the back before having the same be done to him by the one whom he would consider his "best and only friend." ...Though many nap on this red-eye flight, only is fully awake. Awake by so many things to contimplate...~

Summer had been told, not asked, told not to leave the loft.  She was now almost full term with her pregnancy and so far it had only been a rumour that had died down.  she ran the dance studio from home with the wonderful help of Tamara.  Al didn't want anyone to know she was pregnant, she didn't argue because part of the reason she didn't argue was she felt perhaps these children might be in danger.  Her sons would hopefully grow up safe and happy and loved.

So now as she waited in the back of the limo for Al to walk out of JFK she knew he would be both mad and also happy to see her.  She had a way of smiling, a look that she knew made his heart melt.  And she would use it.  She had missed him very much.  She hadn't loved Sal nearly this much.  When ever Al was away she felt like part of her heart was missing and now all she wanted to do was see him.
