This Week's Gossip
I've promised not to divulge the name of the nice gentleman I met at Mahoney's Irish Pub last Saturday night, so let's call him John. In my gossip type humor I think calling him a "John" works. He was absolutely delightful all evening and I know he enjoyed the evening as much as I did. Is he married? Who knows, but he certainly should be because he can make a female very happy.
The weather cleared so I met Rachel at Central Park early last Sunday morning. We ran for the first twenty minutes then slowed to a fast walk where we could talk. She said she was surprised when they were missing several players on the Tuesday night Sex and the City play. I stepped up to fill in for Rafe as Miranda and Kate filled in as Charlotte. It was a fun night, all about the thirty something females dating twenty something guys.
I thought it was hilarious when Charlotte had to decided whether to give her supposedly "perfect man" up the butt sex. And I know Doni loved playing Sam, the kid that was able to bed down Carrie Bradshaw because she was so intrigued by that metal stud in his tongue.
On Saturday night I headed for Mahoney's Irish Pub to meet Rachel and share a few pitchers of their Killian's Red Ale. Barbara Swan was behind the bar and Jamie Peterson was on stage, singing, dancing and even flashing the customers by showing them a nipple.
Jamie's not really a full fledged stripper, but she sure knows how to tease. With one hand holding the mike as she sang risqué' songs, her other hand alternated rubbing her breasts or even sliding further south to almost insight a riot. The guys were shoving dollar bills in her sexy panties or even patting her bottom as she approached the front edge of the stage.
We were surprised when Mike Miller and Eoin Ryan showed up almost simultaneously. Even Lt. Dara Bertolli showed up to enjoy a drink and some cheese smothered nachos. After Mike shared our pitcher of ale and Barb fetched a Guinness for Eoin, things picked up.
Rachel challenged the guys to a game of 8-Ball on the pool table. Eoin asked what the wager might be and I said "Strip pool, if you're brave enough."
Rachel topped that by suggesting we play for massages. If we beat them, they would each have to massage their partner. Should they win, we would have to give them a massage. They were gentleman enough to let me break.
Mike sunk the 9 ball, but missed his next try. Rachel took over and sunk three balls creating fear that she might clear the table, but finally missed when she had to sit up on the edge of the table and us the bridge. That's when Mike claimed he dropped something to sneak a peek up her short skirt. Yes, New York world, Rachel does wear panties.
Eoin took command and in a world of confusion claimed the win when Rachel unwittingly touch one of his balls. Not THOSE balls, you perverts! Mike took Rach off and I spent the rest of the evening entertaining Eoin. I think everybody had a fine time.

This Tuesday night, May 1st at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Will & Grace - Saving Grace. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom.
