Nooo, nice try but Ted wasn't in this movie at all. The movie we're talking about came out 11 years before "Three Men & a Baby" ... back in 1976.

I'll give it a couple more hours while I do some R/T stuff.

Okay, no more guesses?

The movie is Mother, Jugs & Speed, the story of a rather ... strange set of employees of an ambulance service in the 70's.

The cast members I mentioned:

The Football Player -- Dick Butkus

The TV Star -- Larry Hagman

The Comedian and "Family Man" (yep, it was a hidden hint) -- Bill Cosby (Mother)

The Sex Symbol -- Raquel Welch (Jugs ... like you didn't see that one coming!!)

And it was Harvey Keitel (Saturday Night Live & Sister Act among many others) who was the third of the main characters ... named Speed!

I never saw that movie, but I do remember it... but... Harvey Keitel was in it?? I didn't remember that... Good clues, though... but I got stuck thinking it must be OJ Simpson for the football player... *L*

Yep, that's it ... one of My favorite movies of all time, although I have to say that I think "Eddie & the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives" was better than the first!
