This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday I woke up with a start when the phone rang. It was Diego telling me the limo would be out in front of the Plaza Hotel in 15 minutes to pick me up for the football game between our New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys at the Meadowlands.
I woke Eoin up and we shared the shower, which certainly didn't speed things along. The limo was out front waiting when we came rushing out ten minutes late. Diego just laughed and told Eoin he might just as well come along. The game turned out to be very exciting, but the Giants lost to the Boys, 31-20.
The Sex and the City play on Tuesday night was fantastic. I was able to sit in the back and watch Rosalina in her debut as Charlotte, Sam as Miranda, Dami as Samantha and, of course, my friend Rachel as Carrie. Tim played Mister Big, Mike played Jack who wanted Charlotte in a threesome, and Doni drew Ken Sheer who's wife wanted to join him with Samantha. I laughed all night in my normal back row seat.
Rumor has it that Thomas Quinn's pilot, Jason, met an aspiring young French actress named Yvette while they were in Paris. I'll be anxiously waiting to meet them both.
I declined Diego's offer to accompany him to Detroit for the New York Giants game against the Lions. There are some friends of his up there in Detroit that I don't feel comfortable with, so I stayed here in the Big Apple and spent the evening in the Four Seasons Supper Club.
It turned out to be a very interesting evening. I sat along side Angela Black who said she really enjoyed her trip to Paris with Thomas Quinn. Angela showed up wearing a sexy silk red shirt with only one button, exposing her navel over a pair of skin tight blue pants. She even turned me on.
We both were enjoying our "special" drinks. Gino enjoyed serving her Silk Panties, a drink made from 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps, 1 1/2 oz Absolut Vodka over ice strained in a shot glass. I chose one of my favorites, an Orgasm made from Creme de Cacao, Amaretto, Triple Sec, Vodka, and a light cream.
Those drinks drew a lot of comments from both Thomas Quinn and Mike Miller. The evening grew more interesting when Samantha Emeris showed up with her bodyguard, Donny Gunn, but she made no attempt to sing. Mike Miller took her aside to try an console her.
The FBI and the NYPD have spent the last three days searching the city for Sam's father, Anthony Emeris. Sam insists that her father grabbed her son Devin on Wednesday night while Sam was singing at the Four. FBI Special Agent, David Moore, has his team tapping her phone hoping to hear from Anthony.
Seamus Clark showed up and joined Sam, Donny and Mike at a corner table. Thomas eventually took Angela off in his fancy Bentley, no doubt taking her to his mansion for the night. After they left, Mike wandered over and joined me at the bar where we chatted for a while. Sam left suddenly after Donny got a cell phone call. Was that her father finally contacting her? I certainly hope so and that Devin is okay.
Mike's apartment is right next door to mine in the Plaza Hotel, so we shared a taxi home. He stopped in for a nightcap and we talked until almost two in the morning. I didn't fax in this column until after he left.

This Tuesday night, November 20th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be dark as Rachel continues to run her plays on alternate weeks.
