This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday, after our daily run in Central Park, Rachel and I missed our normal Palm Court brunch so we could attend a 2:00 pm avatar auction at AdB. Rachel won an avatar for her friendly neighbor, Kate.

Aspen as Sally Albright was outstanding in "When Harry Met Sally" Saturday night at Rachel's Creative Arts Theater. Here was her version of Sally's fake orgasm for those that missed it.

Legs brush up against one another…shifting slowly to and fro under the table…Oooh……. my tongue darts out to lick my lips while my right hand runs through my hair...my left hand slowly glides slowly down my neck…Oh yeeeess… moaning softly while my left hand hovers just above my breasts…oh… yeeeess … eyes fluttering open …sucking in air, making a hissing sound … yesssssss… my left hand grips the opening of my shirt, pulling it ever so slightly to the left so that a white lacy material can be seen if you’re close enough …runs my left foot slooooooooowly up my right leg.

That’s it…yes… a few short gasps …Oh God!…Yes!!… head falling back… both hands desperately gripping the edge of the table …YES!… eyes fluttering as if my eyes are rolling back in my head …Oh yes…YES…NOW…I want more…give me more…MORE… back arching forward… panting… hands beating on the table in time to my words …Oooh…Yes!...Yes!.. ooh….Oh, God!...YES! ….. YEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!…

Sitting at a nearby table I said….. "I'll have what she's having".

The fake orgasm was great, but I personally got a bigger kick out of  Jack McClennan and Aspen later in the play when they spent that wild night in bed where Sally's climax was every bit as noisy as the fake one and obviously quite real. Aspen claimed she was totally embarrassed, but I think she enjoyed every minute of it. She did try and keep the sheets over them, but I swear we caught a few glimpses. Harry claims he kept her little yellow thong.

Harry's best line of the night was delivered as he got in bed with her,  "Crawling in bed with you…feeling like a Christian entering the Coliseum with a pork chop tied around my neck."

Aspen's was, "I GOT COOTIES! Someone get some hot water and disinfectant quick! I may need a surgeon in a little bit, so have one standing by!" … *groaning*…. "All those layers of petticoats…gone. Where’s my chastity belt?!? Someone send for a priest. I need an exorcism, ‘cause we all know I wouldn’t do this unless I was possessed by the devil."

And before the curtain falls...... we see them both..... Harry and Sally...... James and Aspen.... holding hands as they reach the finish line together..... well done peeps.

Moving on to some of the more exciting events of the past week. In what the police believe was a gangland hit attempt on the life of Diego Farina, CEO of Genovese Enterprises, three people are dead and one was seriously wounded.

The attack occurred around 2:30 pm on Thursday in front of Mr. Farina's Four Season Supper Club. Three men in a black Mercedes sedan drove up and opened fire on Farina, Domenic Cirillo, and Farina's chauffer and body guard, Furio Giunta, as they left the establishment.

Both Farina and Giunta were struck by bullets, but their protective vests saved them from permanent damage.

Mr. Cirillo was hit three times in the chest with bullets from an automatic rifle or machine gun and although doctors made every attempt to save his life, he passed away on Monday with his daughter, Madison Cirillo, at his bedside.

Lt. Joseph Friday of the NYPD Robbery/Homicide Division stated that three other men in the Mercedes were killed in an explosion and fire that erupted when a bullet found the gas tank. They were burned badly and the Medical Examiner was finally able to identify them as Dante Zasa, Greg DeMolio and the driver, Bart Bastillio.

It seems that after a period of peace, New York City has suddenly erupted with more gangland style murders. Two foreigners from Germany and several Russians were found dead in the last few weeks and on Friday eight French tourists were found ambushed in the city. Bodies are still being extracted from the remains of a blazing fire in the upper West Side.

On the brighter side, Nicole Andersen proudly showed me her new oil painting by new Manhattan artist, Quinn Cobain. He sure does some wonderful things…….. including the paintings.

On Wednesday, Bobby Campbell talked Four Seasons bartender, Shannon Smith, into posing for a portfolio. He says that her photos in the summer swimsuit edition of Vogue were well received and he hopes that the portfolio will get her more work. Here is one of the photos I saw in her portfolio. Why do I suspect he plied her with wine and tried to seduce her?

On Friday the first college student night was held at the Four Seasons, although Maddie couldn't be there to kick it off since she and Diego were on a private jet taking her father's body back to Sicily. I sat at a corner of the crowded bar and watched as Amy Bilson, Jan Friday, Melody James and Richard Stewart seemed to be having a great time, dancing to the music of a decent college band. A handsome, blue eyed Anthony Marcario and Katie Donovan were in attendance while Elisha Simmons tended bar.

Rachel said she had a fun time on Saturday when Peter Campbell bought everybody's lunch at the Four. The new Vogue editor, Carly Carpenter, was in attendance as well as Ella Ricci and one of Rachel's old friends named Kay. Ms. Carpenter was so impressed with Ella that she's setting up a portfolio shoot for Ella with Bobby Campbell.

I really enjoyed the Saturday night play from my back row seat, watching the cute usherette deal with a couple named Will and Dami. Dami often plays a major role in Rachel's plays. Rachel has to be pleased with the results of both the Friends play on Wednesday night and When Harry Met Sally on those two Saturday nights. I went straight home, enjoyed a glass of wine, and finished this column.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, July 20th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Sex and the City - Ghost Town. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom, unless Rachel once again needs me in the cast.

When Hell freezes over!  *arms crossed as I stand there in all my petticoated glory...a few extras added on as pentence for last night*

And I know a reporter may not want to to be caught so much as jaywalking.  *giving her a look*
