Ladies day out!

On the request of his Mistress, he would move from room to room in the castle before he ventured out to some cottages. Knocking upon doors of every lady in the castle, commoner or not, slipping the invitation under the door or in a dainty hand.

In trained elegant cursive would be the words of Gerhild Dunstan.

Ladies of MacLaaran, I do hope you will join me in a day of sheer womanly gossip and spending.  I’d like to visit a couple of popular MacLaaran shops and end with a nice little tea with something sweet at lava’s coffee and gift shoppe.   Excited to see you all in the great hall of the castle in two days.........Lady Gerhild Dunstan. 

Once all were delivered he would return to Gerhild, kinda sick of playing messenger boy. She’d just give him a grin and tell him she was just as sick of playing a proper lady.  Time would come when their true self would be exposed to MacLaaran.


[OOC.....figured we could do this on the boards, cus getting all the ladies in one night would be hard. I’d like them to go visit many stores, Serenitees Dresses and Lingerie, lava’s coffee shoppe, massage parlor, maybe get their hands done or something. Irish Linen Shoppe would be nice, and of course Lils new clothing store.]

Walks down the stairs and enters the great hall, looking around for Gerhild and any of the other women of the castle, hoping she understood the invitation correctly. Twirls it in her hand and looks at it for a moment, smiling brightly and thinking how much fun this will be. Glances at her nails with a grin...

Manicures and gossip. Perfect!

Takes a seat and waits with a smile as she thinks how kind and creative Gerhild is for coming up with an idea like this...

~chuckling softly, the invitation in her hand as she makes her way into the great hall. Having read the invitation with delight...she had made sure the shoppe was managed so she, herself could enjoy a day of relaxation and hopefully get to know some of the new residents of MacLaaran~

~stepping into the hall, snickering as seth acts as if he doesn't know her...rolling her eyes and shaking her head~..."Aye seth, I do know tis been a while"

~looking across the hall, spying Meg sitting and smiling as if lost in a daydream.  Grinning as she tip toes toward Meg~

Boo!

Lost in her thoughts, nearly jumps ten feet in the air at the surprise of Serenitee and the sound of the "Boo".

Eeks!

Laughs as she recovers from the surprise, hopping up from her chair and grinning teasingly at the sight of her friend.

Hmmm...Me thinks I see a ghost. ...throws her arms around her in a hug and smiles brightly with a giggle.. Where have you been stranger? And... where is everyone else? Have we scared them off already? grins mischieviously..

*leaving the coffee shoppe in the capable hands of my mum, i drag abby along with me to MacLaaran to meet up with Gerhild and the other ladies …thinking tis time i get to know Gerhild a bit better since she is so friendly with Kyle and She seems to be staying awhile….abby and i are thrilled to find Seren and Megana waiting to join in the fun*

Slipping into the great hall from the garden, her escort Willem by her side, and three of her personal guards moving about, kinda fading into the background.  Moving towards the group of ladies she would smile at Megana, and lava. Looking towards Serenitee and abby, two she had not been introduced to before she curtsy.

“ I am Gerhild Dunstan,....Daughter of The Freiherr Barnhard Der Dunstan, schnell Hand- of Germany, it is a pleasure to meet you,...thank you for enjoying us today, it means a lot.” She would try to make some small talk, nodding to Willem as he and two of the guards move out to get their carriage ready. Once Willem  returns he would speak to all the ladies. His thick German accent pours out into the air.

“Ladies, the carriage is ready to take you down to the village.”

As they made their way into the carriage, Willem would take each ladies hand and help them up. Gerhild would take her seat last. Keep quite, looking a little bit shy, hands folded nicely upon her lap, listening to the ladies. Their first stop would Lils cloths shop. Willem would help them all down, as the guards would dismount and do a quick walk around. One would smile warmly and hold the door open for the ladies to enter. 

[Kitty the Bored]

*she peered from the window of her shop eyes watching the carriage...fingers stitching together a tiny little dress. She sat on a stool just inside the door still watching.* Good afternoon ladies...we have a large array of new dresses to chose from. If you have any special requests please let me know. There is new fabrics on the back wall that you may chose from. *she gave a sweet smile as she continued to stitch the tiny dress together. Eyes watching each of the ladies as they exited the carriage and entered the shop.*

~chuckling softly as Meg jumps up to hug her. Wrapping her own arms warmly around her friend, a girly giggle escaping her own lips...a foreign sound as of late~

~quirking a brow at Meg's question than laughing~

"Where have I been ye ask? Tis a long sordid story I tell ye.  It all began when the handsome and irresistible editor of the MacLaaran Herald asked me to be his bride.....one thing led to another..and soon I'm tied to the be.....errr.....busy taking care of the shoppe.....aye, that's it"...~wickedly chuckling~

~her voice lowering as she giggles and nods to lava and abby arriving~

"We should be social...~wiggling her brow, turning her chin up, putting a hand on her hip and walking toward lava and abby with an exaggerated girly voice~

"Why, I do declaaaare, tis lava and abby!  Merry meet my lady friends!"....~grinning all silly like~...Tis a lovely gesture of M'lady Dunstan indeed to arrange this outing.  I've nay had the chance t'meet her actually."

~turning as seth announces another arrival...smiling warmly as M'lady Dunstan and seemingly her escort enter the hall. Nodding and curtsying then speaking~

"G'day M'lady Dunstan. Tis a pleasure t'finally meet ye and I must thank ye greatly for the invitation.  I'm Serenitee"

~stepping back while everyone makes introductions, brushing a hand over her skirts as they make ready to start the adventure into the village~

~a crooked smile turning her lips as they are all helped into the carriage, taking a seat between lava and Meg....snickering light as she pinches lava and quickly looks away...toward Meg as if to say "She did it!.....softly humming as the carriage starts rolling~

~smiling across to M'lady Dunstan, noting she appears very quiet and perhaps a bit nervous...turning to look out the window as she feels the carriage come to a stop and they are all given a hand off the carriage at Lils Cloth Shoppe...she had never been there before~

looks at lava and then Seren in the carriage, finally clueing in...

gasp I did not! Pauses momentarily...and reaches over to pinch abby...

But that I did! Giggles..and then realizes she really hasn't properly introduced herself to abby and figures she's just made a fool of herself, suddenly blushing.

By the way...I'm...uh....oh....forget it....Hangs her head in mock shame and begins to laugh once more. Quiets as the carriage comes to halt, and smiles at the guards who assist everyone out of the carriage and into the shop. Looks around curiously, smiling warmly at the greeting. Then noticing Gerhild's quietness, approaches her...

I want to thank you again for organizing this all. It's going to be so much fun, what a fantastic idea...Grins and walks away as she continues to look around at the dresses and fabrics in the store...

As Serenitee introduces herself, Gerhild would smile, and curtsy. Watching the interactions between the ladies and smiling, chucking at their humor softly, taken mental notes to all that is being said.

Dark pool scan over Lil and she gives a warm smile. Willem stays close to her side, then walks around the store as she starts to look over dresses. Watching the ladies, smiling a little nervously. She missed her friends and family so much she is just happy to be near others. As she thinks about things, her smile widens, taking note of Megana approach she turns to face her and smiles a bit wider, nothing that looks fake, just happy to be out.

“It is an honor you have all came, MaLaaran has been so friendly to be, beside that overly large blond guard that keeps shouting about war....” her shoulders shiver as she thinks of Talon. “I just wanted to show my gratitude,......It is a lovely home, with welcoming and warm people.” Curling her fingers around a dress she holds it up to her form and looks into Megs eyes to see if she approves.

Smiles warmly at Gerhild's words and gives her the thumbs up sign as she holds up the dress..

Well, we're all glad to have you here!

Grins and glances over her shoulder, turning around curiously and hoping the others haven't gotten lost in the shop...*L*

She enjoys Megana, she ponders if there is anyone the women is not pleasant with, or anyone that does not find her a treat to be around. Nodding to her words she would follow her eyes around the dress shop.

Watching the two sisters she would smile and twist her fingers around a very well designed dress of Lil's. Her eyes would glow with welding tears as she watches the two, and their friends around them. Pulling forth her emotions she would draw closer to the sisters. Her small frame would curtsy, all her carefully toned muscles hidden under the fabric of her dress.

”abby, I would like to congratulate you on your marriage. I have been up to the Ranch on many occasion but never have the pleasure of meeting your husband, he must have been too busy courting you. I am sure if you have an equal amount of taste as your sister he is a fine man.” She was nervous, and her slender fingers would move to her neck as she speaks, tugging on a loss strand of hair.  “Married life, I have often ponder what it will be like, I think my father sent me on this little trip to meet a Lord, for all the ones in my land I have turned down....though I do not think it is them I am fearful of, but more the wedding night....”

*abby and lava smile at the woman, but are unsure how to respond to her comment about the wedding night. abby thanks her for the congratulations and says that aye, Michael is a fine man and she feels fortunate to be his new bride.

lava spends more time watching Gerhild from behind racks of dresses as she pretends to study the fine fabrics, but secretly trying to read Gerhild's expressions and figure out if this Lady is going to be friend or foe. But either way, the day spent with friends and her sister is turning out to be a fun shopping experience..and in the end she decides that the visiting Lady is harmless*

Willem would clear this German throat and announce that if they ladies were ready it was time to move to the next shop, the massage parlor. Gerhild would beam, for she had waited for this one. Keeping to the back of the pack, still being quite shy she would watch the ladies a bit more before interacting with them. Even along the carriage ride, she would cover her lips and giggle at their jokes and forwardness, but never speak herself.

Slipping out of the carriage she would move into the massage parlor, of course her two guards would march out of the shop, already having done their sweep and take their positions beside the front entrance why their mistress was inside.

[hint hint if anyone wants to play the people in the shop go for it, for I am still new and have no clue who runs it!]
