*Looking down at her as she sleeps, tangled up in the sheets of my bed, smiling as I drift my fingers over her thigh, hearing her soft sigh but she doesn't wake. Leaving the note on the bedside table for her to find when she wakes. Grabbing my phone, jacket and keys. Locking the apartment as I leave. Getting into my car. Turning on the news as I head to the office. Chuckling softly as I hear the reporter talking about the killings again in the park and the police's lack of progress on it. The letter had been put in the papers and broadcast over the new. Finding myself grinning at the thought of it.
Last night with Barb had been my release from months of training the girls. Flipping open my phone, seeing I'd missed a message. Reading it. Smiling as Cody and the girls were safely on there way to their new owners. Women who had learned their rightful place at a man's feet.
