"Oaths of Companionship "

I RAGNAR DRAGONSFURY lay down upon this parchment my word and my Honor that the following will be done as my duty in this companioning with Karanis. This is inclussive of the Brideprice arrangements.
In regards to offspring:
Sons... Sons will be brought up in the traditions and pratices of Tuchuk. They will learn also the knowledge and heritage of the North. Sons of this companionship will be at home in either world. Should Karanis and I become seperated for any reason, be it in life or in death, the survivor will see this is done well. Should it be seperation and life, the Sons without exception will remain with RAGNAR or with a Warrior of his choosing to be brought up as Men. Karanis will have full rights of visitation and Motherly duties so long as they do naught conflict with their raising.
Daughters... Daughters will be brought up in the traditions and practises of Tuchuk. They will also learn of their Mother's heritage and of the finer things associated with being a Woman. Should Karanis and I become seperated for any reason, be it in life or in death, the survivor will see this is done well. Should it be seperation and life, the Daughters without exception will remain with Karanis or with a Woman of her choosing to be brought up as Women. RAGNAR will have full rights of visitation and Fatherly duties so long as they do naught conflict with their raising.
Finance has been set forth in the Brideprice agreement. In the event of RAGNAR's passing, that naught stipulated in the brideprice will be divided as follows. Fifty percent to camp coffers. Ten percent to see me through Odin's afterworld of Valhalla. Ten percent to cover all expenses and settle my estate. Ten percent to be set aside in Karanis name should need arise. Twenty percent to be divided between offspring. If no offspring exist twenty percent will be placed in trust for use as Karanis deems fitting.
Slaves... slaves will remain property of the individual even if a dual collar exists. The first designation on the collar denotes ownership. In the event of seperation such will be observed. In the event of death such final wishes set down aside of this will be followed.
I RAGNAR DRAGONSFURY retain the right to seek change and/or alteration of this oath provided just cause exists for such and then only to adjust for benefit and naught of malice. Council will be the judge of such alteration's just cause.
All items obtained during this companioning from this point on unless otherwise specified become my property. Division of said set forth here as well as in the Brideprice will govern.
Karanis nor her Mother shall ever want.
I RAGNAR DRAGONSFURY pledge my oath of Honor as well as my life to tend to, care for, and provide for, Karanis, Mother, and born offspring, to the best of my abilities provided my Tuchuk people come first. Tuchuk before myself. Karanis... I will defend you.... Honor you... and keep you as mine before all other Women. Slaves naught included as such is deemed property and naught of free will. I will heed your words in all things though final say remains mine.
This companioning will have no termination date specified. It will extend unto death or until both parties agree it need be terminated for the best of all concerned.
To this I lay my hand to and my Honor.
