I feel so sorry for the northern visitor and da boys, wanting to see "the silly_one" (but not so sound of mind&body), one last time.......  such a distance to travel and meet face2face and yet............... be so far apart mentally?  worlds apart

I feel sorry for everyone.  Just remember she is not in her right frame of mind.  Just continue being the supportive person that you are!
The rest will fall in place.  Just concentrate on one thing at a time.  When Sunday comes, then turn your focus on the next thing.  No wonder you are having sleepless nights.  Focus on one thing at a time my friend.
