Who needs socks?  Not me!! *wiggling bare toes*  But it IS getting a bit chilly here.. even for Texas.

And thanks for the cheers.  They are helping.  I got a little more done on that quilt this weekend.

fred, you will never regret your decision to keep your socks together as a pair.  They will be greatful all their short wear-span.

 *hugs to all*

Ah.. I am not shirking my page-turning duties.  Good!

kay, yes my blood has thinned pathetically here in Texas in the last almost 23 yrs.  But do you know what is sadder?  My kids never did have the thick blood necessary to survive a Hoosier winter.  It dropped into the low 50's last week and they dug out the mittens.  They had stocking caps and mittens and coats on like a blizzard was coming.  My 5 yr old came to me outside shivering and saying he was sooooooo cold.  I couldn't help laughing though.  He was wearing a winter coat all buttoned up, the hood on and tied, mittens.. and shorts!  And to top it off, he was barefoot.

 Kids!

Thank you for the socks fred.  My feet feel much better now.  But the socks do look a little funny sticking out of the kids' cowboy boots!  And thank you for the treats.  Ummmm but... fred?  It looks like someone has been nibbling on them *looking at kay*   It's ok though kay.  I am on a diet !!!  (41 + 12 kids = big hips!!) I walked three miles yesterday. OUCH do I hurt today!  It wouldn't have been so bad if my 16 yo daughter wasn't with me.  I was going too slow for her and she kept jogging ahead and then back to me.  So I started doing a *power walk*!  (and paying for it!)

Oh.. and did I mention a stray dog followed us home?  Just what I needed!  ::)

Sits up and begs for me  :P

That's our kay for us, sharing her cookies with any stray that comes along (including fred).

but NOT to fear....................... underdog fred is here

bringing more treats to all strays, everywhere

and if cookies aren't your favourite, then how about some:
