i visited a medieval fair today, and upon finding this tavern, i couldn't help it and stop to drink a horn of mead on Your behalf, Master Ubar! The name of the tavern is what can be seen on this shield: Ragnars Sauferey
The best translation i could find for the second word would be "bender", if that's the word which is used when drinking quite a bit *grins*
So i guess "Ragnars Bender" was quite a nice name for the tavern, and the mead was really good!
