The bad part about all of this most people are writing off the bengals and shouldnt. There game against the jets could be meaningless before they even play it.  Ie they would be the 4 seed win or lose if the pats win. And that spells bad news as the jets could have a free pass into the playoffs so with that said the bengals hold the key to the steelers playoff hopes and you have to ask yourself.   Are the steelers a team anyone wants to see in the playoffs?
bye bye!

I would like to see it... but I am not pleased with their performance this season. If they are able to get a WC... they damn well better show they deserve it.

I suppose TT does have reason to cheer. This is only the second time in twenty years or so they have won the division I think.

If they are going to do it and the Steelers aren't... even I hope they can do it right and keep the trophy in our division.

2 reasons why I do not want to see the steelers in the playoffs...

1. my huge dislike for them..lol

2. They have not played this season any where close to how they could/should have..
and because they are in our division I do keep an eye on them...and even though I do not like them...
(a rivalry thang..lol)..I know they can play better and even I was dissapointed in them this season...
They dont deserve the playoffs! due to shitty performance....and they lost to the Browns!

I say get rid of Heinie Ward...bol

The Steelers have been plagued by injuries this season. However... I refuse to believe their depth is so shallow they were unable to make adjustments. Ben is personally having a good year, but the offense will never improve and become a force until they get an offensive line that can protect Ben. I don't care if you are Ben, Brett, Quinn, Flaco, etc... you cannot be productive on offense if your quarterback is buried in the turf.

I must say though my greatest letdown has been on defense. They have allowed more yardage this year than I can or care to recall. Other teams used to groan when our defense was mentioned. Now they nod and look at how to pick it apart.

I hold Tomlin accountable for most of the Steeler ills. He is taking what has always been an "in your face"... "smashmouth"... "physically dominating ground team"... and turning it into your average arial type team. This team has been built around the old school system, and he is looking for an aspect that during building has been a secondary fallback. We havealways been an arial threat, but its been on the ground that we will and do hurt you. Not this season.

I hope he wakes up and returns to the system the team was built for, and gives up his theory of what he wrongly wishes them to be.
