If you find yourself, confused, warmed, heated, burning at the ears, ticked off or bursting to burst someones overly large ego, then by all means, take a deep breath close your eyes and click your heels three times, as long as you are wearing your ruby slippers and say, "There's no place like Tuchuk, there's no place like Tuchuk, there's no place like Tuchuk." And you should be home. Home, where we dont blatantly ignore the roleplay of others that we deem do not fit our style of thinking. Home, where we are willing to give chances to everyone looking for a chance. Home, where even the banned might find a place. Home, where we certainly arent going to go to other places to run our pie holes about us.
There is no need to play Preacher, King, God, Priest King or any other omniscient being who is the foremost expert on Gor and knows it all. Because all of us here, brings something new to the table and yet still learn from the old because we are willing to teach. As long as you are willing to learn.
We play hard, we work hard, and we laugh hard. We have survived so long because we are a family and have no need for drama. You want drama, go look at some of the other boards around Gor and try and keep up with the gossip. See if you dont get a headache. Half the time you will get it just trying to keep up with the many dimwitted personas of anyone around that is charged with dualling.
Breathe. Even the overbearing and self righteous has a place in this world. Usually its strung out in front of a herd of bosk and wagon column or staked but hey, look on the bright side, its a place right?
So relax, enjoy the day. Enjoy your home. Enjoy your family. Everyone else that may try to bate you, are just jealous at your success because look how long we've been here and still survive even after all the posers have posted how we would fail and never make it.
Smile. It makes people wonder what you are up to. And if you cant think of something to smile about, I bet if you look around, you can find dimwits aplenty to laugh at.
Remember, each day is the dawning of a new day and new chances for idiots to open mouth and insert foot to knee. They cant dictate you, but they can wish to be you. Look at it like flattery.

For others, keep trying, because your wit still sucks donkey nuts. You are not good at it, no matter how knowledgeable you make yourself out to be. There is always room to learn. Being humble is the beginning and being willing to learn and accept is the next step.
